Just thought i'll do a topic where you can post things you'd like to be added to the tourney stuff, of course it should be things that are possible to do so i start off with some really simple stuff:

In my opinion the "created" column should be replaced by the date and time the tourney starts so you can see easily when the tourneys get played when you browse the tourney page. Not really of much interest when the tourney was added for the players.

Edit: One thing i'd also like to see is less tourneys, more players. Maybe some remember the FTM tourney stuff which became quite soul less (also due to the automated shit) because there were like 5 tourneys every day. Also a rule to announce tourneys one week before they start would be nice but i think that's already in the making.

Would be cool if you could do some optimizations so Cup pages don't lag so much, even on a dual core this is laggy as hell...

Sorry but imo you should either warn both or none of them. Can't be bothered much to get involved in that stuff but it seems a bit unfair to warn a guy who calls some1 else a fag after being called a prick and a pure twat...

Just had an idea how to make it a bit easier to browse through the cup pages and to notify players about their cup games.

First thing would be that when you click on "current cups" it should display the cups that you take part in on top of the cup list with another font colour than the ones you don't take part in, maybe green or something. I often have to search for the cups i'm in by name which is quite sucky when the cup is way down the list because the cups seem to be listed by the latest posts in the cup threads...

Another thing that would be nice to have is sort of a notification, maybe above the user panel. I thought about the ringing phone graphic from w:a which gets displayed in the top right corner when someone writes in the chat. And when you click on that phone you get your games displayed which you have to play in the cups you take part in. If you finished all your cup games, the graphic disappears magically!

I hope that's not too hard to code, would be a real benefit imo.

Not sure if this was discussed already, but i don't really see a point in taking over the classic league point system in TEL. Makes no sense imo to have an overall rating when there is basically only one scheme that counts into it. The only consequence it would have is that players with a high overall rating end up on like 64th position in season 2 and still be in PO's... a thing that bugs me about the classic league standings already. In my eyes a system similar to football leagues would make more sense as the rating in a one-scheme-league actually is not of interest. Like, give 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 or -1 for a loss.

Edit: Just thought about it again, the seasons points system surely has a point as an anti noob-bashing measure. Still discussable whether the overall rating makes sense though. Maybe we could just cut that and stick to the season ratings only.
