ROFL... if you look around, there's a post where I was fighting with Komo about that... i lost the respect I had to Komo for doing that...(And i know he doesn't care lol)
I don't put my thumb to re-aim, if i Did... i would not fail my shots... that's lame
I've already explained this before, but i'll say it again just incase, I very rarely use my thumb on the screen, I only do it if I am short on time, now I will elaborate on this, for example, if I was minimised, and I came back and have 7 seconds left, I don't have time to check their hide and see if they moved and then reaim and check if it's right, or if it's the same, so I do the thumb thing, this is just as bad as it is good in my experience because on too many occasions I haven't seen my opponent move hide and I just re-aimed and done the shot again where they used to be.
Even if I was to use my thumb on every single shot I miss, 1. I think it's a great, clever, witty method and it saves time, and also people use similar methods to aim kamikaze, or other things in WA. 2. I usually hit 1st turn anyway, and if/when I do miss, it's usually because the power was wrong, not because of the aim, so using my thumb wouldn't even give me any help whatsoever because I need to get the power right.
As regarding this game, avi asked me for my opinion, so here it is:
Regarding rules, technically I feel the game should be voided because of the girder and how it affected the game(this reminds me of the game where I think it was mm, not sure, took the wrong punishment for a sitter which had a huge impact on the game, especially tactically), I think I know ShyGuy well enough to think he isn't that kind of guy who would abuse rules like that intentionally, he's always been fair with me in BnG, and I feel he has a point about the girder rule that should be elaborated on although in it's literal sense "Girders should be used for bouncing purpose only" to me implies, don't use it for cover, before or after, regardless, but some people might not understand that so I feel it should be dealt with perhaps?
Maybe people should relax on the re-aim rule? For me, as long as my opponent at least aims 100% vertically straight up, or down, before they shoot again, it's all good. And maybe also people should pay a bit more attention in future?
