Sorry, I know I should keep my mouth shut but I must say something. Avi, well done and congratulations to the players in mm (including yourself) who still play WA like humans, I just have the feeling if we were all face to face, I don't think your clan would have the abilities that they do thanks to your "special player".

If I take alot of abuse for these comments I don't really care it has to be said:

The ONLY reason you won PO this season is by playing lame, end of story, Mablak/barman are using methods for BnG, you are not winning games purely on skill and personal ability, if everyone learned all the crap that Mablak has been teaching mm players, then WA would indefinately become the most boring game in the world ever.

Personally, I think Mablaks more recent "do anything to win" approach to this game using markings and methods is utterly pathetic and I know so many players agree with me but they are too scared to open their mouths.

I personally cannot stand clanning against mm anymore, (unless it's a roper with avi and devilage, I enjoy those) it's just no fun, and now they have started to hide Mablak asking for clanners then when people say yes here comes Mablak... Sure, I could try teaching everyone in my clan how to notch just like Mablak did, but what's the bloody point, I would be just as well programming some robot to do it for me, cuz that's all you are doing, notching is the worst thing to ever happen to this game and Mablak just HAD to take it that extra step and teach everyone, now those people are telling other people and too many players are doing it... I am sorry but I will not reduce myself to doing anything like these guys just to win a game... You know what Mablak, why don't you just go on a world tour with a big suitcase and teach the whole world how to be boring wormers? If you sucked at WA I wouldn't care, but you ARE genuinely one of the best players ever and it pisses me off you reduce yourself to this... You should be teaching players how to enjoy WA and relish it, not how to abuse it with boring little methods, not that it's my problem, I just don't like you anymore in the world of WA, but I still love your band and all our little chats !

At 1st I was ok with it, I got over the BnG with mm etc, but then YOU started acting how awesome mm is, and it's bullshit, alot of people been complaining about your clan recently and more and more players can't be bothered to play mm...

Rant over, and I am angry at myself for posting this, I tried to resist it, I really did...


Franz honestly, well done man, your style of play and your passion for the game never ceases to amaze me, keep up the good work and I will continue to cheer for you

Wow Dave, major butthurtness, way to take a shit all over a congratulatory thread. I don't use markings, nor does barman. And he only notched one shot in the BnG we played against you, he's got a knack for memorizing things which would work with or without notching. But I don't have to justify it because it's legal, your problem is with the scheme/game and not us, so don't point fingers.

Also, notching actually got barman into BnG; there are people like that out there who are more interested in a game of memory than a game of feel, not that there isn't still feel required. Notching isn't a bug or anything of the sort at this point, I used to think it was going to get 'fixed' in an update, but that's just not going to happen; it's part of the game. I don't think it's even a good idea to get rid of it if we could, because 'non-notchers' rely on discrete angles as part of their feel, so there's no sensical way to remove it without messing up BnG as we know it. Those awesome LG 1-bar wind shots you do? Yeah, they wouldn't be nearly as accurate without discrete angles, as I'm sure you're aware of.

Methods though, are essential for any form of BnG, and there's no reason to fault someone for that. Your problem is that it seems like your skill is being overlooked, but the kind of BnG you want to play is style BnG; its skill can only be appreciated by certain people and not in a play-to-win league setting, just like roping can only see its true potential in warmers.

And nobody's been hiding me, quite the opposite, we've been annoyed when certain people are less likely to clan when I'm around, which is what you've been hearing us talking about. And I have been teaching players to enjoy WA, I host intermediates for noobs almost every night, this game actually doesn't revolve around BnG. Speaking of which, intermediate utilizes tons of methods involving game physics, and it only gets more and more competitive.

I really don't see the problem with markings and notching as long as your not using a program to move your aimer pixel by pixel. To me it's just using your brain.

Just my opinion I know alot of other people feel differently.

Mablak I honestly think you are becoming as bad as all the other lame players out there now.

And I am not talking about just BnG.

I think the problem is that you have no idea what you're talking about. Please, elaborate on all the ways that I'm being lame in other schemes.

nino, I get accused of cheating, and playing lame regulary, I constantly get trolled and hated on, you act like I am the only person on these forums to accuse mm of being lame, as I recall there have been alot of threads complaining about mm this year already, and I don't personally dislike anyone, I still find Mablak a genuinly nice guy, I have some things in common and enjoy having chats with him on IRC, same with barman and rest of mm, what happens on WA stays on WA for me and doesn't affect how I feel about players personalities outside of WA, I can remain friends with players outside of WA. Some players on WA unfortunately can't seperate those 2 things.

I have already told daina and lalo I am considering leaving cFc and joining/making another clan because I don't take WA as "for the win" serious anymore, and my attitude has ruined alot of potential victories and moments for cFc, and generally I feel like I let down cFc too often, I am confused tbh.
