Yea its rare. Drove it 6 years and sold it to a french guy which came by airplane from paris just to pick up my williams at zurich airport. I had tears in my eyes.

daaaaaaamn and he drove from zurich to paris with it then? i assume that u had it in great condition, can u tell how much did he paid u for it? thats such a hoooooot hatch!! i just bought mk2 GTI 16v but gonna show photos later coz its gettin shape now, need some fixes

€ 3'500 was the prize, couple of years ago, 12 years old and almost 200.000 kilometres. Some little fixes needed but engine and other important parts were fine.

That paris guy was a fan and yea, he drove it back from zurich to paris.

6 years before I bought it for € 4'000. Good deal for me.
