I would like to request "WormKit modules" board for discussions regarding wormkit modules considering the latest hot topics and also move all themed subjects to this section.
I believe it goes on "One-Boards" togheter with Maps, Schemes etc.

Albus

I support the idea! The description of this subforum could include the request and suggestion of modules, discussion about modules before they are published etc.

Someone is using my name on WormNET. If you are under suspicion if you aren't with the real Kradie, then pelase confirm my real ID here on TUS or discord @Kradie.

Schemes I mostly play: Big RRz and Roperz.

MonkeyIsland

Should we also have a dedicated section on file for Wormkit modules?
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

What if the icon had a some sort of a tool icon? Like a wrench?

The one donnie suggested is the Wormkit symbol. I believe the symbol would be a symbol of CyberShadow's legacy. However, I like the idea of a tool, but only if someone create an art image with the Wormkit Symbol on the background of the tool or at its side. If the image doesn't look good we should just keep the Wormkit symbol.

Edit: something like a CS in front of the symbol or an electronic shadow gif would be nice to see along with the wkicon.

Both the board and the file type section for wkmodules would be great. Good ideas.

this might be more challenging than I thought

- do all wormkit modules have a worms2d.info article?
- what about forum threads regarding a module?
- what about dynamic links? StepS has one for SuperFrontendHD - one link always downloads the latest version, that'd be hard to maintain on a file listing
- we'd need to manually split apart programs and wormkit modules

No, what's the concern? It's not intended to replace wiki, it's for modules request and discussion etc.

I think we should move them.

What's hard? I don't get it, TUS has dynamic hotlink too, same link always download the lastest file if you update it, unless you have a version history then it will download all the versions bundle. Would you elaborate more? Maybe I misinterpreted you.

I don't think it's something to worry about either. There are only few modules, the rest would be programas.

it's when the downloaded content gets updated and you don't have a choice of picking the version. something something I won't be able to download an older version of SuperFrontendHD before upscaled graphics for any reason

Kaleu

I get it now thanks, but It's so simple to solve.

We could have 2 uploaded files for wkSuperFronted.

1st file they could name "wkSuperFronted lastest version", the files within it would be always the lastest version obviously.
2nd file they could name something like "wkSuperFronted archive". Everytime a new version gets release the previous is uploaded there.

This could be used for every module if developers care enough to have dynamic hotlink and keep version history of their modules.

ergh, i guess... that will depend on the author I guess
