there are 2 replays in the first replay I WAS WINNING ok? the game dropped nobody know who was... we had a RM

In the second game this guy was in a darkside the WHOLE f@#!ing game  i quitted this game because it was stupid he had all the time shooting from there and he already destroyed ALL my hides FROM a darkside... is that FAIR? No Right
and well i quitted because of that, and not because i wanted to, he reported this game as if he won! did he win? no he didn't because i quitted because the way he was playing COWARDLY

I need some1 like KOMO to see this Shit

IF THIS THING IS NOT SOLVED IM GONNA REPORT THAT GAME TWICE AGAINST HIM! Is not fair that he destroyed all my hides from a darkside

I'm not allowed to say anything.
U cant even give ur opinion? I want to know who is right =/

dilligaf

But it's about the scheme that you are most proficient at, I'd say. So go ahead! I'm interested also.

GodiTo

King, you can tell your opinion without 602 smileys. You can tell your problem without CAPS LOCK (except this two words). Everyone will understand. Anyway it was darksiding, yea, in my mind.

@ To Komo :
Your opinions has always something in my eyes.

Sorry for off topic!

If I give my opinion I get moaned at :(

Not by me, though :) I seem to recall asking your opinion on a few matters regarding BnG, in fact (and I'd like to hear your opinion here, too)! People should moan less, makes a lot of lives easier, including their own.

OK, first off, calm down, man! It's just a game, no need to go off like that. And don't ever report 2 wins. If you don't agree with someone reporting a win, posting here is the way to go and I'm glad to see that's exactly what you did.

While I'm watching the game, first thing I noticed was that Thouson skipped his turns while you had to go to the kitchen (and you deliberately missed a zook when Thouson missed his), so that's good :)

Second thing is his location after you pushed him. I personally don't like people hiding out and would definitely call Thouson's spot darksiding, though perhaps you could've banked a grenade using the right side. Later on in the game, his worm became hittable again though and you quit after a few turns there.
You also need to see that Thouson did try to get some of the land cleared when he had bad wind.

In all games regarding quitting in a game, we've decided to give a default loss to the player that quit just to send a message: quitting a game is disrespectful to your opponent unless you do it with the consent of your opponent.
However, I can understand why you quit in this game considering Thouson's spot and his refusal to get out of there for several turns (even if you were able to hit him at the time of you quitting).
So I would go with voiding this particular game.

Perhaps we should use this complaint to get a more defined definition of darksiding, though (as you already posted). There are too many people hiding out in places where they either need to have perfect wind or only have one kind of grenade shot. Perhaps you need to be able to do 2 different kind of shots (banking as well as normal grenades for example or if he's hiding on the edge, then perhaps grenades with 2 different timers?) from the spot you're hiding in.
Perhaps you should be able to hit your opponent with more than one type of grenade as well.

As far as i Know DARKSIDE is when you can't hit *directly* with a zooka... that's what i always thought and what Komo told me... i couldn't hit him directly i could attempt a sitter if i threw a nade there why? not my fault

I wasn't gonna wait until he destroyed all my hides and when he wanted to get out from there

The thing is that nobody won this game

What im asking is Put an exactly meaning about what darkside is... I had a lot of games where people is darksiding and they say " Im not darksiding "

angus

My first personal rules of bng is: Dont play bng against zillians.

It's stated in TUS BnG rules:
Quote from: TUS BnG rules: Scheme #1 General Information
- Darksiding is not allowed. A darkside is considered a place where you can't hit OR be hit with a nade. Simply teleport/move to another position.

Isn't it simple enough? "..a place where you can't hit OR be hit with a nade."

No need for another endless BnG rules discussion..

Where did U read "Directly"?

It's simple, look again: "darkside is a place where you can't hit OR be hit with a nade."
