group 3: Deadcode vs G match is still to be played. I can't quite reach Deadcode anywhere, maybe if you read this DC, pm me on snooper? and I could call G to play with you tonight or tomorrow

Yes, I know. I was already working on scheduling my match with G. It might be difficult to find a time we can both play.

How come sock has progressed past the knockout stage when only 4 games have been played in his bracket, of which he played 2 and lost 1, and yet all 6 games in my bracket are done, but neither I nor Mega`Adnan have progressed? I really don't understand cups...

every game in KO is ready, they are bo5

the situation in group 1 is simple, Marcello beat everyone. that leaves us 3 players, sock has beat gusa, and Amaterasu was very hard to be reached cuz his nicknames were constantly being stolen by others in AG. so at that point Mr gusa having 2 losses, and sock having overall more win is enough for KO, I think its fair like this. I was thinking of replacing Amaterasu but he had his match with Marcello already. your match with G was more important cuz it was for the sake of #1 and #2 advancers (you or Adnan), while in group 1 it was easier to simplify the advancers

It's the moderator who manually advances members to the next stage. There's no coded formula/pattern for advancing.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

it depends on moderator, if I was moderating this cup, the last game would have been meaningless to play.  You were 2-0, beating the only person able to equal your win total.  You had the head to head tiebreak, yet needed to still play a meaningless game that wouldn't matter in seeding?  I guess this is how cups go these days?

It used to be moderated this way, based on wins and tiebreaks and not total games played, but lately even if players have an extra loss and lost head to head they get proceeded?  I don't understand it either, but people can moderate these cups to their liking ultimately.

In some recent cup I was 3-0, beating shtaket head to head, he was 3-1 and got proceeded in first place while I was proceeded in second because I couldn't find my final opponent.  If I were to do it all over again, I would have adnan report a freewin over me in the final meaningless game to increase my seed, I guess, since it's all ass backwards.

Something seems broken when giving someone a free win will allow you to increase your overall seed for knockout, or maybe that's just me.
