Description:
Renaissance of RopingSignups open until Sunday 31st March 2024.
The Cup will begin on Monday 1st April 2024.
Rules:All matches are 'Best of 5'.All schemes are 'Best of 1'.Players can agree on which scheme to play first, the loser gets the next pick, then alternate until someone reaches 3 wins first.
If players can't agree on first pick, play 'Comet Dodging' to decide who gets first pick, then alternate.
Map choice and style is decided by the player who picked the scheme, opponent cannot refuse the pickers map choice though there are restrictions:
When playing 'Big RR' you must use the
Big RR generator by Legion to generate maps so each map is fresh and cannot be practised before the match. This is to prevent players from picking maps they have practised in advance.
For 'Tower Race K', 'TTRR K', 'Wascar K' and 'WxW K' there will be map packs uploaded and you can only use the maps provided in those map packs, but you can choose any you like and your opponent cannot refuse.
Each map pack will have a considerable amount of maps to pick from.
NO NSFW MAPSThese map choice restrictions are in place to keep it fair for all, so that the map selection remains somewhat consistent and even across all matches.

Renaissance of Roping Map PackIf a draw happens on a mutual pick, both players must agree to a new scheme, they can however agree to the same scheme again.
If a draw happens when a player picked the scheme, that scheme goes back into the available schemes to pick and the other player gets to pick the next scheme from whatever is left to pick from.

Deadlines:There will be deadlines set for each stage, there will be no extensions. By signing up to the Cup you agree to these terms.Group Stage - 4 weeks
Playoffs Quarter Finals - 2 weeks
Playoffs Semi Finals - 2 weeks
Playoffs Final - 2 weeks
These timelines are set in stone, each stage will take that amount of time before advancing.
Which means if one stage is finished early we must wait to proceed to the next stage.
It is each players responsibility to organize their matches before the deadline.
Organizing your matches within the official Cup thread takes priority over all other forms of communiation with your opponent when judging who will proceed due to unfinished matches.
Though players CAN organize their matches outside of TUS if they wish.
