what if your power goes out by pure chance

Then someone doesn't want you to play lol, tough luck.

I've allowed a 2 minute window, like I said, it's fairer to have the person who's equipment failed, punished, rather than the innocent opponent.

Without this rule, people COULD take advantage and cheat.

Look at it this way, if someone has terrible equipment, and they KNOW it, they shouldn't be playing anyway, it's not fair on other people.

darKz

You forget the fact that most of the time in a 1v1 match it's not clearly visible who dropped unless there's a spectator who can tell what happened.

Prof: You can have bronze, I don't really care about Hysteria, I only played because I was bored and Random also played. :P
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

@Drops? Ah cmon guys why so dramma? My internet just lagged for a few time, my network is hard to fall down, that's just a lot of drammas without reason. I had the advantage in the game, rofl.

@Darkz: okay i am just in the bronze match coz every turn i got free wins :(

TheKomodo

Professor, it's nothing against you lol, but imagine how Impossible feels?

It's obvious, this is not a perfect solution, it's better than just letting it happen at all.

If someone is playing for 5-10 minutes, they have positions they feel are perfect for them, although they still have a chance to lose, because Hysteria is unpredictable, having to host again, from the start, is really an uncomfortable feeling, and when it happens to me, I always refuse to play again, i'll give my opponent a free win, but sometimes my opponent is a fair player and doesn't want this, but I really REALLY hate having to start all over because of someone elses poor equipment.

darKz, in my experience, it's been obvious who dropped, if neither player actually realises who dropped, then they can play again fair enough.

I think most people are confident enough in their equipment, and it does happen rarely enough, to just accept this.

GreatProfe

lags are normal in any game, i know its bad but wanna accept the facts, even using the best pc from the world with the internet most trustble and fast, games will be dropped anyway.

As i said, i had the game in mu hands, its just time question, Impossible has to stop complaint and play again - its absolutelly fair for both. But for now the tourmanen is done.

Professor, lags are not normal in everygame, I very very very rarely drop out, less than 10 times in a whole year probably.

Certain people, can make 10 drops in a couple of days... It's a well known fact some people abuse this, and it's also well known fact that some people are really innocent and have bad equipment, either way, why should the players who have 0% fault be held responsible?

If someone drops as the game is loading, or drops within the 1st 2 minutes of a game, sure, I have no problem in rehosting.

I think people should accept the risk, and if they drop they should be grown-up enough to let the other person continue as they have 0 fault.

It's a Tournament for fun lol.

So even if I drop while being leader, it still will be my disqualification with no chance to re-play? And yeah, we need spectators.

In Hysteria, leading doesn't mean you will win.

Random proved this in yesterdays Tournament.

M4Dbrat

Under that line I meant leading in all it's meaning: good positions, well skills or whatever stuff LEAD you to win.

I still stand by what I just said lol.

M4Dbrat

I'm OK with that (even after remembering how I lost Holy War cup), but this way luck factor is increased even more while people usually try to decrease it.

TheKomodo

I don't see why, if you don't do anything to stress your connection or your equipment, and you have the proper drivers installed for all your software/hardware, you should be ok, if not, fix it, then play League games, don't play League games if you are scared you will drop lol, if it happens to me, i'll take one for the team.

Can I just add:

Since I added this rule, no one dropped, not one single person, at least AFAIK.

I will continue to use this rule for everything I host WA related from now on :)

Thanks everyone, good job :)
