Description:

Let's just get a lot of games going with different variations on hysteria, to see what scheme is nicest :) I'm gonna want to see a lot of games, so I'm setting the required percentage at 75.

General rules

The games are best of 3. You have to play all these 3 games, though! The games will all have a slight variation from the original scheme:
  • One variation is played with random turn order.
  • One variation is played with Worm Select at the start of the turn.
  • One variation is played with Worm Select at the start of the turn, but with /racingstuff activated.
  • One variation is played with one Worm Select in your weapons list, useful in endgame pilings.
  • One variation is played with only 8 teleports instead of infinite.

Each player picks one of the schemes. For the third game, try to agree on one of the variations. If you can't agree on the third choice, use http://www.dsrw.org/~dlg/web/straws.php to decide on the third variation (total straws 3, short straws 2, the long straw is the third variation of your game).

Activity rules

  • Deadlines for each KO round is 2 weeks.
  • Deadlines for the group phase will be decided depending on how many people join
  • If you can't play your games within the deadline (vacation, exams, opponent not online), post in this forum, so I can make exceptions.

While you play these games, please try to remember which of these schemes made hysteria the most enjoyable.

And finally, please arrange your game if you can't find your opponent! If your opponent is hard to reach because of time zones or active clanning/single league, it would help enormously if there's one day/time when your opponent can find you.

Btw, I liked schemes with random turn order and /rs wsteria the most. In addition to RTO scheme, I would add 1 wormselect (or 2)  ;)

I'll start up a thread about this after the final game is done :)
But thanks for the feedback!

Final deadline set for the bronze match :)
Nobody makes an effort, nobody gets bronze. If only one makes an effort, well, free bronze!
