komo if it comes to 2:2 and you refuse to play gildarts as it is you'll lose that game.
evryone else plays the same map without complaining, if you got bad laptop atm its bad luck, the map has always been good enough to play, you dont need to get an extrawurst, as we'd say in german

I never said it's the laptops fault, it's the maps fault, we asked if you could make an edited version of the map for everyone but you ignored it!

The map hasn't always been good enough to play that's the point do you even listen?? You should know better by now, to re-pick maps that have flaws.

i didnt ignore it but you found some contraargument your self during your own request, evryone would need to redownload edited map and promisable there would be troubles.
anyway, imo theres no reason to replace/edit the map. start surrounding and wall to attach rope are parts of the map, if one screws to attach and plops there its own fault - same, and maybe even more, for princemap. many ppl fall by mess round roping the start part -  no need to take risks there.
can practice that, too

There is no problem with having to re-download the map, you could easily take 3 steps, post it in the description, post it in this thread and send a PM to every player involved with a download link.

If they don't get it by then, their problem not yours.

How is that their fault? That's poor map design and you know it, the map should be re-designed to prevent that.

Yes, if people screw around and fail, that's their fault, but you and I know more than anyone how evil getting a lag at the wrong time can be

When I say give free wins don't mean not play, just gonna mess around cuz I don't see the point taking it seriously with this map selection lol.

Lags can ruin your throw anyway, what does having to jump got to do with it?

Yeah lag can ruin your shot but you can still land on the target somewhere, it's not always horrible, it can be though, i'd much rather at least have a shot at shooting than not even connecting to the part you have to bounce at...

It's not a hassle, it's just quicker and easier to just switch maps, would literally take about 30 seconds(considering you don't have slow sh**ty loading times).

Well, as said before, this isn't about me and my personal agenda, this is about doing the right thing, not using flawed maps, like how we used edited maps(successfully) in dSC/dSTC we could easily do the same thing here, improving game play, reducing bad luck, which would make everyone slightly happier(even if they don't realize it).

If this was asking for huge complicated tasks then we could see why Hurz/spleen17 had issues but what I am asking for is a ridiculously simple fix but for some stubborn reason he just won't do it.

For the past few years people have been putting in less effort, and complain more how things suck, it's THEIR fault for having this "it's a video game made for fun, let's put no effort into improving anything" attitude, always choosing the simpler, lazier, easier option...

Let's look at it this way, i'm saying this because it's factual, and you just need to look at the entire history of Darts and dS forums, and private forums to see the truth:

Everytime I left dS/WA, Darts started dying, everytime I rejoined, Darts started getting activity again, why is that? Maybe it's because I put in a ridiculous amount of effort hosting events, building up hype, creating things, making it look good, and pretty much no one else did.

I have a lot of respect for Hurz as he managed to keep Darts barely alive when I was gone, without him Darts would have been 100% dead, but even he gave up too.

Had a chat with Xan a while back and he wishes i'd comeback to resurrect Darts again, yes I miss dS and playing Darts but it's honestly like cat 'n' string, when i'm gone nobody cares about Darts, when i'm making decisions and organizing events everyone starts yelling suggestions and giving their input, acting like they care then f**king moaning at me because I tell them some of their ideas are stupid(for good reason, but they just don't get it).

And it always ended up the same way, "You never listen to us, blah blah blah, you always do what you want, blah blah blah", even though I implemented a lot of ideas suggested by the community, tried hard to encourage other people to make maps and organize stuff themselves, mostly they just weren't interested.

Most of dS always kept their mouth shut as much as possible and never got involved in team projects or anything, but god forbid I say something they disagree with then you couldn't shut them up! It's the only time they will put effort into anything, get them into an arguement with Komo...

Regardless though, there is no one in dS I hate or anything, still love them all they were like a family to me for so long, some of the best memories from playing this game I will ever have, so many times I was genuinely crying with laughter, especially in later night dS Tours, heck, I even miss arguing with Marian! At least the guy tried with all his heart to win most games lol, although he was a b**ch about it, he tried! He seems like he's matured now though, could possibly be the only game I enjoy in the entire Cup with be with Marian, how is that for f**ked up lol!
