Hey wormerz, here's a little update about GTA V

First of all, I'm so excited about Rockstar finally answering a few questions about GTA V, as well as showing some screenshots.
Regardless of how little info they're giving us fans and how often we receive said info, I think it'll be well worth it. We'll be guaranteed 100% accurate information with Rockstar's method. IMO, quality > quantity.

Everybody tends to whack out whenever leaks about GTA V (confirmed or not) are released. Theories and assumptions always flood the GTA V section after a leak occurs. But now, things in the GTA V section are starting to get weird... Conspiracies are being formulated, as well as some very odd coincidences that may or not be coincidences. Here are a few interesting topics from the GTA V section worth checking out:

Chevy Chase Filter Explained?
^ Connections between DeepthroatGTA4 (and his posts), the actor Chevy Chase and GTA are made and explained. Very weird yet interesting.

GTA V will be released until March 2013

I stopped playing at San Andreas, but still can't stop the excitement for a new GTA game, this one looks like an HD San Andreas and should be much better than 4 (which was a big let down imo).

I know where you're coming from NaiL. I'll quote my thoughts about it. I was interviewed for a GTA Magazine, "MultiplayerMonitor", here a couple of Q&A:

MM: What is your favorite GTA game and why?

GTA:IV undoubtedly. Although most people say that GTA:SA is the best GTA game ever, I highly disagree. GTA:IV has the best Multiplayer GTA has ever had. In my opinion the Multiplayer mode is what makes you hooked to a game. GTA:SA had a bigger map and it was more customizable. But the city was poorly detailed. Liberty City was better built on IV, hence it’s much more detailed… you won’t find any desert zone. Hell, I don’t even know why I’m comparing it to San Andreas. IV ftw!


MM: What do you want in GTA V that IV era games didn't have?

The combination of GTA:SA plus GTA:IV would be perfect. Needless to say, I can’t wait to fly a plane on V. Regarding Multiplayer, I’d like to see penalizations being implemented for players that quit games. Of course I’d want R* to keep Cops’n’Crooks for GTA V:MP, because I think CnC covers every GTA skill. To do well at CnC you need to be a good all round talent. You need to be able to shoot, drive, fly a helicopter, know the map well, and be able to work well as a team. There are other things you learn as well because it is of more tactical value in this mode that you won't do so much in others, things like shooting down helicopters, mastery of the sniper rifle, using the subway to escape etc.

heh nice Leory lad, I knew you were a hardcore GTAIVER but didn't know you were an ambassador for the game as well xD

I don't even own a PS3, ive only played it at friends houses so ofc I haven't played it enough to make an un bias comparison. Im sure the multiplayer is extremely fun and very addictive, by the looks of things ill be buying a ps3 for V if it lives up to the hype, mountains, bikes and planes ftw!

That's it guys, the second trailer for GTA V was released today and it's a brilliant trailer revealing the voices of all 3 protagonists, as well as an insight into their daily lives. After a bunch of screenshots, this is what we can come on with:

• Los Santos will be five times the size of Red Dead Redemption (although not every preview is on the same about this one)

• Los Santos will have a huge downtown district, a gang district and a huge country side

• Radio stations will be available ( of course ). A song that was heard during the demo was ‘Radar Love’ from the oldest band on the planet: Golden Earring

• The satire of the American society will include subjects like "Hollywood, the porn industry, weed smuggling, homeless people, a bankrupt government.

• You will be able to go anywhere you want to go on the map from the start. So no restrictions.

• With scuba gear you will be able to visit underwater caves.

• If you complete a mission your outcome will be heard on the local newsradio

• Though you can’t buy any houses, there will be enough fun toys to spend your money on

• Trevor, Michael and Franklin each have their own set of skills

• Countryside is huge. There will be a desert a deserted local area and of course a mountain that is fully accessible.

R* can gtfo until they confirm the pc release date, or better yet, how many months will they delay it for.
Can they optimize it properly (like they did with max payne3? [horrible, horrible game btw]) or will it be yet another crappy port performance-wise.
Those eye candies will mean nothing on console. (hint: check out 'real life' mods for gtaIV)

Thanks for Red Dead Redemption for PC btw.

Anyway, looking forward to it, hopefully in 2013. This was kinda cool reference.
