I am with Almog on this, at least concerning the pricipal of dilboys actions, not neccessarily ban him though.

TuS is a League, a League to the point that uses a variation of the "ELO point system", which is used in a way to calculate a persons skill is it not? Alot, perhaps even all of the top 50-100 players on TuS takes the League pretty seriously, some play certain schemes, some are inactive and some very active, what counts is that when they DO play no matter what they play, they try their best and usually play their best, so you know if you win, it's an earned victory.

Yes it is true, some people like easy wins, but for people who truly care about the concept of "overall standings" and "overall skill" and anyone who cares about points and win/loss % will or should understand how dissapointing this is and how much it affects the reality of the standings, for example I played 15 TRL's with oldsock when it was TTRR, the score was 13-2 or 12-3 to oldsock, I know I only won a couple games, but I was proud of those games I won against someone as skilled as oldsock, who is in my opinion one of the toughest players in TTRR to beat, he rarely plays bad or doesn't achieve a fast time, to me it was an accomplishment to play good enough in 2 games to better his times, which weren't exactly terrible or anything, also made me feel even worse because when we done 15 BnG's in a row that one time I reported them all...

I personally stopped playing Dilboy for this reason, which is a shame because he's a great guy and a good player, and also it's the main reason why I stopped playing Singles because there are so many players that don't report, which is a shame because I love playing Leagues with friends a main reason being I know that if anyone cows by accident or does something by mistake, they have less chance of falling out/arguing and usually come to a mutual agreement/understanding, but it's a shame they don't report, I have a much better overall standing than what I actually am imo, I know some people told me I did beat some good players at my weak schemes, but if those other players reported the games they won against me, i'd have 100-200 perhaps even 300 points less, which is quite effective/decisive at positions 20-40.

Not that it makes anyone a bad person for not reporting, it doesn't lol, but for me it ruins the essence of Singles.

Not to mention dilboy rarely does report. He's not a bad player, so if it hits you, you're literally gonna lose a ton of points. :P
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

That post was longer then the essay I wrote for my exam on monday, Komo

Dilboy is a good guy, but he plays league only for fun, the schemes he like and sadly doesn't understand that for some players it's also a competition, they want a serious and fair match.

Statik

No1 forces you to play with Dilboy lol, I don't see any problem here. Is there some new rule "play serious and don't get fun"? He doesn't lose intentionally (that is a good reason to ban), so you can't blame him in enjoying the way he's playing.

The only thing I don't like is he doesn't report his wins. You also have no chance to ban him for that, but I think it should be mentioned in league's rules somehow. So if a player decides to play a tus game, he must do some actions besides just asking "tus ne1?" @ ag. But it's kinda WA + TUS problem. In modern online games players don't need to "report" their wins or loses manually.

And btw: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/announcements/regarding-ban-threads-(reminder)/ So ban Almog please.

I wouldn't play Hysteria either, I would drown all my Worms and that's it.
If you know someone doesn't like a specific scheme then don't pick and and get your competition in a scheme the player likes. That's what you are complaining about anyway that you want competition, so pick the scheme he's good at.

Ridiculous demand and thread, btw.

Almog, you played dilboy during FB too and it was the same way, you never filed a request to ban Dilboy back then. What has changed?

to be honest I have no idea what u talking about. I only know dilboy for a few months, FB was like 6 years ago? But lets say I did, then I changed, I don't play only to earn points

QuoteHe doesn't lose intentionally (that is a good reason to ban), so you can't blame him in enjoying the way he's playing.
Giving a free win is intentionally losing,
Playing like he played me is intentionally losing

Maybe if he actually tried to win that roper (HIS PICK) I would think of picking it.. but again, intentionally losing

Anyway like I said in my first post, I assumed he wont be banned, so at least I hope I reached a few people here who now know dilboy better and maybe will avoid playing him.

Btw nice post komo.

Impossible

ye. very nice post komo. No1 dont read big posts there anyway. Only if the topic of post is cheating, sniper (no much diference) and porn

Abnaxus

Not playing ftw doesn't mean free win.

Cause it's exactly the contrary. When you play for fun, you try harder things. And by trying, you learn, then you succeed.
That's the way to kick asses on Roper.

Smoking proud.

avirex

its amazing how long that post was komo, i imagine you said some very insightful things in it...

i very rarely post my wins as well, i start out in AG looking for funners, and when i can not find them, i will agree to whoever is asking for a tus, just in order to get a competitive game... i never lose on purpose, but i also hardly report when i win... i guess i never thought about how it may disturb the points system...

but i wouldnt imagine its disturbing it in any dramatic way.

and btw: "And btw: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/announcements/regarding-ban-threads-(reminder)/ So ban Almog please."  so ban statik :DDD

TheKomodo

Why does it matter how big that post was? I posted all that mainly for Almog, and anyone else that feels the need to read it, I didn't do anything wrong cmon...

It wasn't even a long post lol.
