New schemes in league or ...

Hey guys

Here's the first idea about league.
What schemes really should be in the league? Do you like SSR to be allowed to be picked in league? BungeeRace? Hysteria?

1st option :
Including these schemes in our league. (and more schemes)

2st option:
Having 2 kind of leagues.
Maybe one called : Classic League
Another : Free League  (Freelance ? )

The names says what they are all about.

i like your idea about 2 leagues, maybe you can have a misc scheme that changes by a vote at the end of each season for the classic league, i think the classic league should be the regular league schemes... roper,t17,elite,ttrr,bng,shoppa, and maybe hysteria and intermediate, and see what schemes the community wants for the free league

I honestly don't know what to do for leagues, as I never participated in one, or seen how they work, as long as it works and is popular, then fine by me

I like Wokka's idea, but it has one little problem: if the free league is the one that has the rare schemes, it will be kinda inactive as those schemes are played not by that many players. But I say we should give it a go!
One league for "popular schemes": T17, Elite/Pro, Bng, RR, WxW/Shopper, Roper as in XTC + I think we should talk about Intermediate and Hysteria.
The problem in my point of view with those schemes is that the worms are placed randomly in both. But maybe hysteria with telestart and instant mines would be ok!

vn idea about the 2 leagues, but as x-ray said, i doubt the free league will be v popular but can try it anyway for the "normal" league i think we should add intermediate to the usual schemes (without porting at start coz thats not how its played...) , hysteria dunno...i dont like it v much
and for the free league i would say every scheme is allowed, hence the name

I meant by free league, A league with all schemes including the schemes in the classic league.

But you know how we should do the free league? Like that:
Every season is a month. The classic league is played just like XTC or any normal league.
But the other one: a different scheme every season. Maybe it could be chosen randomly by the site. Or would last for two week only.

I'm thinking a free league would be like people could pick whatever scheme they like. (Known schemes, not inventing schemes)

How you mean a different scheme every season ?
 
P.S  One of my reasons for a free league is to make other schemes more popular. 
For example I've seen so much possible strategy in the mole shopper scheme. But this scheme is known as a "fun scheme" like BnA.

Mole Shopper is very 'serious' scheme, not a 'lucky' fun scheme as BnA is.. I hope you have learned that by playing with me!    
Anyway, as I've suggested in the other topic "u could somehow 'connect' leagues and tourneys by having a leagues for different schemes, beside the regular one, or smth like that..." - I haven't thought much about this, but I think that every scheme could have separated 'league'... don't know how much complicated that would be, but in the end u could have results for every scheme separated and on the other side results with total amount of points as for a single players, as for the clans...
In this way clans (or singles) would play bo3 for only one scheme that they agree to play... or 2 games of bo3 , everyone choose 1 scheme...
And that way u could have all the schemes that u want to in the league...
If u ask me I would put all the schemes that was played in WO this year and let them become popular or not by chance... sure there would be mole shopper, even plop war, wascar, ctf, wfw...

Well, It is not possible to have individual league for each scheme. But that doesn't mean we can't have each scheme 'results' or 'statistics'.

Schemes like mole shopper, walk for weapons ... They will be included in the free league, free for everyone to pick.

Each scheme will have its own page of results ...

i think the 2nd option is nice,free league is a great idea if it "would be like people could pick whatever scheme they like" and if we have result of each scheme in free league it will be great.

it would be cool but might get a little messy, i think theres way too many schemes to be able to add them all, schemes like comet dodging i think would be pointless to add, wfw, bungee, mole, ssr, ctf and forts would all be good ones to add (and some others ofcourse) and what about the clan league, will there be seperate clan leagues  for the classic and free league? a rotated league might be cool too (a league thats just one scheme a month and changes by vote)

might be a bit too much, 3 leagues^^ maybe u can do it like fb did, that theres some misc scheme that changes every month which is announced before the season starts.
