Hola. Any vegetarian / vegan wormer here?
« on: April 24, 2016, 07:35 PM »
This topic is not for create a stir or controversy, also is not to criticize anyone's lifestyle, is just to know if any wormer carries a vegetarian or vegan way of life.  :P
In my case I started being a vegetarian six years ago and then two years ago I made the decision to be vegan. and is one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.

Hope to catch some veggie wormers here and then make a veggie clan.  :D

Good for you; I'm vegetarian. It's getting easier to be one since there are increasingly more meat-free food options, e.g. veggie burgers now taste better. But we need some vegetarian/vegan fast food chains or something.

Cool!

That is right, nowadays is easier to have available a lot of products. Nothing is better than fresh and homemade food but sometimes when you are not in home, you want to have more food choices.

what blood type u are?

I am A+.

Vegetarian (eggs/dairy/fish OK, zero meat largely for moral reasons) since birth.

Best fast food veggie burger is from Harvey's.

I have been salade-eater for 15 months. Now I wish I could eat a vegetarian, especially fried vegans.

I'm 0 vegetarian, for ethical reasons, you should see how they treat cabbage and lettuce on these farms, it is cruel and despicable.  I feel sick unless I eat the soul of a tiny baby pig first thing in the morning in my bacon.

Fried vegan sounds good, maybe sauteed in bacon grease?

Yeah eating no meat except fish is pescetarian; I think there's compelling evidence that fish feel pain, so I disagree with that. The only exception to me is oysters, which lack brains, and therefore presumably lack consciousness; I've got no problem eating those for the same reasons I'm fine eating plants. Sometimes that's referred to as 'ostrovegan' or 'ostrovegetarian'. There are way too many names though.

I don't have as big a problem with fish as I do for land animals because of the treatment they get. In general, fish have better lives before they're killed, compared to land animals, most of which are contained and engineered from cradle to grave for purposes of consumption and profit. Fish are also simpler, less relatable organisms (especially sardines, which make up the bulk of my intake, and are more nutritious/lower mercury as well).

The increase in fish farms/GM fish is starting to cause me problems, though...

Hey guys, wondering about something. Dunno if it's a stupid question.

Afaik vegetarians/vegans don't eat animal meat because seeing killing an animal for their flesh is wrong and they feel pain too etc.

My question is why a plant like that developed a defense mechanism like this:

Is it certain that plants etc don't feel pain or for other things which prevents you to consume meat?
