i don't care about previous respect or anything like that, people have a right to a change of identity.
The only problem is previous rankings in the league and using it unfairly in terms of points earned etc.
MI could approve a change of name in that case without it being publicly announced to the community.
If they want to change their name in private so the people running the league know about it and they aren't harming anyone, or secretly playing as multiple people affecting standings, that's good for them, but I still don't like it.
I know it's an extreme scenario, but some people have been extremely rude/malicious, and for them to hide from their past in the faces of the people they offended/affected and those people are clueless to the knowledge this is the person that done bad stuff to them, that's just f**ked up if you ask me.
Imagine after the b2b thing, I pretend to quit WA, take on a different persona, and wormed my way back into b2b(pun, boom!), and these guys were all happy with my alias, then one day they found out it was really me, how do you think they would feel?
If someone is trying to hide their past, for any reason they must feel some shame/remorse for it, so if they can act like a better/different person, at least in my opinion it's more respectful and honorable to confront that and make amends.
I'm not even saying this guy is definitely an alias, I honestly don't know, it's just an explanation of why I can't trust people who alias or hide their past etc.
Illusion, sorry for making a fuss over this, you may for all I know be a legit w2 player that we haven't heard of before, good luck!
