It does sound like Linkin Park. I loved it. Mike Shinoda and Mr. Hahn, they still exist!

By the way, not sure if this is exactly the best example of a Hip Hop song, but the group has a good influence of rap. This one of my favorite songs, it is sang in Spanish language, but it also features the Brazilian famous singer Maria Rita singing in Portuguese language.

Bug Report / [SOLVED] Not a bug, but a serious issue.

Why Anti-LGBT flag is available for download here? 99% of the comments against it were deleted and the flag is still available for download.

I don't understand this. Is it ok to spread hate on TUS? I don't think so.

44 min 52 sec dodging meteors according to the log. In real life, that would be 17 min 36 sec dodging meteors I think (considering only the retreat time). Wow! I doubt I'll beat your record. But, at least I beat you once in our 2 rounds online of this scheme. You won the other, though. The others were still learning how to use Jet Pack and press enter. I hope we play more FEA funners or other schemes! It was fun today, long time I don't play Neocombat with 6 players, all of them beginners, unfortunately you were without teams to play (only as spectator), my bad, I didn't see this. The players enjoyed a lot Neocombat, we played 3 rounds!

What about official mappacks for the league schemes? I think that's the best solution. The Mappack can be increased with new maps tested and approved by the community.

Maps / Re: Can we have a section for Grenade Wars please?

This post reminds me this topic: https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/tus-discussion/more-map-categories-33394/

I agree with Komito. And I think more categories should be added.

Kill The King
Rowy
Big Kaos (big islands)

I can make a list again of the ones I feel that are more important.

The objective in a league game is to win, so there is nothing wrong with choosing the most convenient option, or anything else that might be considered lame. So:
  • Using easier shots in BnG
  • Telecow in Hyst
  • Using multiple spacebars for roping
  • Memorizing/writing down opponent's worms order in Normal/Abnormal
  • Using mostly zooks in Boom Race
  • Using rope to aim in Mine Madness
  • etc.
are all A-OK.

People may think that some "lame" strategies are ruining a scheme, but those are the inherent flaws of the scheme, not the player's.

I agree 100% with this. If people think these things are not interesting for the gameplay, they must add rules to a scheme, or create a different scheme to prevent this, using modules (like PX) or not.

Thank you for the tips, my resolution is 1366 x 768. I don't have TV so, I can't amplify my resolution. It seems the resolution REALLY matters for this scheme. Maybe I'll try more, but it seems that I won't have a good chance playing on my laptop. I played with ctrl + home or holding left button with the mouse. I did not try with scroll lock, but my resolution is not so big.

Zooming in WA... When?

General discussion / Re: Do us a favour please and just end WO.

Interesting. I think I never used Google trends. It's possible to see the interest of WA by the states/provinces of each country!

And, yes, maybe you're right. 2011 was version 3.6.31.0 that supported PX and RubberWorm, and both modules were well known by this time.

70
Not 4.0, but likely 3.9 this year, and maybe even some more versions after that before the year's done. But I'd rather not say too much about it until it's closer to being ready for release. :-)

Now I want to know about TUS 3.0! Will they be released together?

Cups and Tournaments Comments / Re: Cup #1209, Gravity Battle Cup
« on: January 29, 2024, 03:50 PM »
This cup already ended. Someone should just finish the cup. Kaleu got the Bronze.

Ok, I played around 1 hour maybe, I don't know. I made 43 attempts. From these 43, this is my record for now. I have 2 more weeks to beat Danger. I'm still very far away from him.

73
The second game I would win if I just skipped turns at the end, although, I used a mine accidentaly from parachute, and the right weapon was grenade, so I lost 1 round that would led me 3:0 for me.

Spoiler! View

Where did you get this chart? Which source? I would like to click the "?" Button to see the criteria of WA interest over time.

I think 2009 was the golden age of RubberWorm and PX. After that, IIRC WA received no updates until 3.8 few years ago (PX is still incompatible with this version and stopped being developed). So, this chart makes sense, but I think the community is still very active, I see Anything Goes with dozens of people online often. TUS still has many cups and challenges going on. WMDB is still receiving good maps constantly... Not sure if the interest is so low right now.

I remember I stopped playing mainly because there were no updates, the community was toxic, I felt that everything I was doing had no interest to people, and real life problems such as university. Also, other games were free, new and addictive by this time.

Schemes Comments / Re: Scheme #5298, Lottery LP submitted by Kradie
« on: January 26, 2024, 04:39 AM »
I only realized now that the scheme of the cup going on is Kradie's work. I enjoyed a lot the scheme, really. Congratulations. Not sure if I didn't see this scheme or if I didn't understand it and only took a brief look into it. I only played Lupastic's variation, though.
