3 months for allrounder leagues are done. This is the standings based one 2 sets of scheme classes:

Allrounder 1 standings

• BnG/Hysteria
• Intermediate/Elite
• Team17/Shopper
• WxW/Roper
• TTRR

Allrounder 2 standings

• BnG/Hysteria
• Intermediate/Elite
• Team17
• Shopper/WxW
• Roper/TTRR

One of these leagues/labels will be entirely deleted and the other one gets its own PO.
in PO, instead of picking scheme, players pick scheme classes. For example if a player picks Hysteria, his opponent can't pick BnG because that class is already played.

You can vote, but votes without posted opinions have much less value.

I had some talks with some of the members, I think it is something that our community must know.

I coded this website for W:A, nothing else. The process took me 4 years of literally non-stop coding. In order to achieve that, I turned TUS into a part of my everyday life otherwise it was impossible to reach this level. The SMF forum software alone has been modified 486 times in 75 files in order to function the way we need. That's excluding all the individual parts like leagues, cups, challenges, maps ... and there are still many things in progress and many things that is on the list but their coding hasn't been started yet.

I want you to know that all of this is to promote this game. Some of our users have completely forgotten about that. The question to me is "Is TUS presentable to people outside?" We've all spent so much time on it, but if someone ask us about what it is, can we safely refer them to TUS forums? Although there are many good posts and boards on TUS, to me the answer is no.
Some people are having fun on TUS but they are misusing this website not to mention that their fun is actually taking away other people's fun and even more our possible newcomers.
We need newcomers. That's blood for every community. Not that I'm not happy with the current users but because a community having limited number of users will eventually die. nino was an active user once and he is not anymore. LionHeart too. So was pr.  Not all of you would stay forever, that's life.

Many times I've asked people to post on the forums and they really didn't want to because they were afraid somebody pick on them.

So I created the Spam Assassin group. We will delete spam, insults or even posts that are provoking or have the potential. We do that already, but with this new group we're focusing more and try to deliver a healthier community. I'm asking you to don't wait for a mod to spot a bad post. Use the "report post" link or pm mods whenever you see a bad post. TUS is made to care of your w:a needs, it won't hurt you return the favor and take care of it.

Having 2 nicknames on TUS

Several people uses more than one nickname. Sometimes their nick in WN is not the same as their nickname on TUS, this has caused some confusions. In order to reduce this confusions (just for a little bit), it is possible for you to have 2 nicks on TUS:

• Account name:  This is your account name which you use to sign in on TUS.
• Display name: This is the name that will be shown to other people, meaning in standings page, forum posts, recent games... everywhere that you appear on a page this name is shown.

If some user's account and display nicks are not the same, system will tell you both of his nick when looking for him. For example I want to send message to ArtiC, but ArtiC has recently changed his name to Lukz. I don't know about his recent nick change, so I would still search for his old nick:


As you can see his account name will appear in parenthesis.
This is a way to:

• Have 2 nicks on TUS to get recognized with, hopefully less confusions for other players to find you.
• Trying a new nick which you are not sure you wanna have it permanent.

Your profile address on TUS, will always show your account name. It will work if someone manually type your display name but on the site, wherever there's your profile link, your account name is used in the address.

How to ask for nick change

By changing your account name, system will automatically reset your current password and will send you an email. If you haven't receive the email make sure that you check your spam folder too.

If you want to change your nickname, you must send a pm to me, in the pm content:

• If you ask for a nick change and don't mention anything else, I will change your display name.
• If you want an account change, you must mention that you have read this thread and you know that your password will be reset, otherwise I will redirect you back to this thread to make sure you know what you're doing.

Well seeing Hysteria sucking TRL's poll each season, I think it would be better to give it it's own league and remove it from TRL forever.
A new league dedicated to Hysteria, I thought to throw Aerial in too. A 2-scheme league. Thoughts?

Since TUS2, all info and statistics about a member are listed in his/her profile. By viewing a player's profile you have access to anything that user has done on TUS. As shown in this picture:

The list is self-explanatory however I'll give you some brief explanations. But before that, as you can see in the second image, if you click on the triangles that the red arrow is pointing to, you can have the users list as side menu instead of drop down. The side menu is much easier but it requires extra space. It is best for people with wide monitors or high resolutions who can use their extra space. By clicking triangles:

Getting back on the list:

• Summary: The general info about a member. Posts count, games count, country, groups, last activity ...
• Stats: General statistics about a member. How many hours they've been online. In what hours of the day they've been active, or in what hours they use to play games. What boards in forums are their interest ...
• Show Posts: Views the latest posts of that member.
• Groups Log: Views when that member have joined, quit or registered some groups. How long they have stayed in some group. how many clans they have jumped or so.
• Leagues Stats: All info about the activity of that member in leagues.
• Cups Stats: All info about the activity of that member in cups.
• Tournaments Stats: All info about the activity of that member in tournaments.
• Pending Games: The games that member is supposed to play. If they have joined a cup or tournament or even if they are in leagues playoffs, this page lists the game they must get done.
• Challenges Stats: Info about what that member has done in challenges part of TUS.
• Show Maps: If that member have submitted maps or mappack, this page lists them.
• Maps Choices: By playing games, TUS extracts maps from the replays. This page shows the latest maps played by this member. But even more, if you visit this page, you can get statistics for any specified scheme and checkout what maps this users mostly picks. In other words, you can spot map-bashers with this feature.
• Uploaded Schemes: If they have submitted schemes, you can see them here.
• Submitted Files: Graves, flags, fanfares or W:A related programs or other misc stuff submitted by that member.

The important thing is, any new page will be listed along with this info from on. So in the future, if you are looking to know about a member, you just have to click on his profile.

The same thing done to users, are done to clans and communities or even countries. When you visit their page, all their info is listed for you.
