hey guys. i've been looking for a way to quickly switch between my away/back state. (aside from clicking and then the appropriate dialog option) during my endeavor, i even tried '/afk' in the snooper chat ::)

i'm fully aware of the 'mark me away when game is started' feature, but don't wish to use that.

Quote
    Alt + Left: switch tab
    Alt + Right: switch tab
CRTL + W: close a private chat tab
CTRL + F: focus the filter
Right and Left arrow in the News section to switch news

is this an exhaustive hotkey list, or have any others been implemented? this post was the only information i've found regarding snooper shortcuts, aside from the wiki.

so anyways, i'd like to request a keyboard shortcut to toggle away/back, something like CTRL+SHIFT+A(way).

in addition, i think a 'find' command (could use CTRL+SHIFT+F since CTRL+F is taken) to search through the chat would be a wonderful addition.

thanks!

If Deadcode/Cybershadow/Team17 started a Kickstarted campaign to fund the WA 4.0 Update to be completed within say, a year, I would totally go for this.

Considering the scope of 4.0 (it's basically a complete rewrite), I really don't want them to feel rushed about this. Are there a specific list of features (4.0 facts updated 2010) you all are wanting to be released, or just the arbitrary '4.0' version number? Or rather reassurance that the game is still in active development?

You better believe I'd be more than willing to throw in some cash to see some advances in this game. But adding money to the equation might not necessarily be a good thing in this circumstance. Better a regular update (3.8.0.0?) in a year with a few tweaks than a prematurely-released 4.0. The feature list (and expectations) is just too numerous for any sort of promised date.

Handle the multi-key problem (when more keys are pressed certain keys simply get ignored, I thought it was my lptop, but since I've bought a new one, I can see it's not)

I get the same input drop problem on my laptop if I hold Up + Left and try to press the Spacebar.

PS/2 typically fares better than USB in regards to ghosting.

An easy test for ghosting:
Hold down both Left and Right shift. Without releasing, type the sentence 'the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog'. A keyboard with no ghosting should reproduce the sentence exactly, albeit in caps.

(My result: HE QUIK BRON FO JUPS OER HE LA DOG)

Mind you, this happens even when I haven't hosted a single game yet, any idea? I'm using newest version of the snooper.

Tomi: goom is using a classic skin. So his right-click menu is probably different from yours. Shift+RightClick the taskbar icon to open the regular menu and close (and that option generates a different window message).

Yeah sorry forgot to mention that. shift+right click the bar if you're not using classic. Can you replicate it now?

hey Tomi, just thought I'm mention a bug with your program that I've been able to replicate over and over again.
1. minimize great snooper via
2. in the taskbar, right click 'Great Snooper' and click 'close window'

expected result - great snooper closes to tray (and can be brought back by clicking notification icon)
actual result - great snooper becomes unresponsive and/or crashes

can anybody else replicate this behavior? i'm using windows 7
