Some people is calling me cheater and implying that I'm dishonest because I used wkWormOrder (https://worms2d.info/WkWormOrder) against Dario. Here at TUS, I played two games against him using this module:

At the time I used this module when I played against him, there was no express rule prohibiting its use. Later, in TUS, a rule was created saying that if you use this module, you need to inform your opponent that you are using it (https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/leagues-general/using-wormkit-modules-in-leagues-33659/). Dario, as he himself said, knew that I was using the module, however he said that he supposedly didn't know that the module allowed me to know the sequence of my own team.

I have attached below the conversation log of two matches where I played against him and used the module. In the first log file, you can see that I had already alerted him that I have the module installed and asked for authorization to use it against him. In the second log file he says he doesn't trust me anymore because I hadn't alerted him to a particular function of this module that he supposedly didn't know.

In these log files, you can see that he said the following:

His behavior was very strange because he already started accusing me apparently without any proof.

I didn't act in bad faith. The module was discussed publicly in several places¹ and Dario knew the existence of the module (he participated in some discussions about the module) and I assumed he knew about all the module's features. There was no rule prohibiting the use of the module and it still doesn't exist until today, and that's why i use it.

I want to open a short parenthesis here. I played ONL league for many years (http://www.normalnonoobs.com/userinfo/Albus), always looking to bring new players into the league². I also participated a lot in their forum (http://www.normalnonoobs.com/forum/), sharing guides and information to help new players. I suggested the creation of the ONL discord channel which also helped a lot in the league's activity. I don't understand why he thinks I, a person so committed to their league for years, tried to deceive him and why he thinks I'm a liar. In fact, I think that this attitude he had with me is very unfair, thinking these things about me and even divulging what happened between us to other people. If he thought what happened was unfair, he could ask me not to use it again, and delete the ONL games (since he's an admin there) or ask MI to delete the TUS games. But for some reason, it was important for him to talk about that in public.

Many people use programs to count weapons used by the enemy, rulers to measure kamikaze distance and get maximum damage, wkRemapKeys to make the mechanics of some schemes easier, and none of this is prohibited. What I did, compared to these things, is infinitely irrelevant.

Some things that for others are cheating, Dario does, but I don't see anyone addressing him in the same way. Why just against me these accusations?











The function to zoom in on the game, using the Windows Magnifying Glass (which chicken says it's cheating - https://www.tus-wa.com/forums/wormkit-modules/(module-idea)-option-to-zoom-or-change-resolution-during-the-game-33605), who discovered and spoke to me for the first time was Dario. I didn't even know this was possible. Now I ask: the players, including him, say everything they use to the opponent (visual aids etc.)?

I had given him some names of people who used transparent water (and maybe still do), however, he showed no interest in calling these people cheaters in public (or at least talk about it in public) the way he does to me. So, apparently, it looks like this persecution against me is malicious. By the way, if he asked me not to play using the module I wouldn't use it. This slander campaign against me was not necessary either.

2 ONL news from 2020. Oct. 1:

I understand that some don't accept to use the module to see the opponent team's order. I think this function should only be used by mutual agreement. That's why the module sends a message when you activate this function.

But the function of seeing my own team's order? To be against this is to be purely masochistic. If I want to change my team so that I don't give my opponent the opportunity to know the order, then does that mean I have to sit 10 minutes, before EVERY MATCH, to create a new team and have to memorize it? And if I want to create multiple teams just for the pleasure of using new names etc., will I also have to keep memorizing it every time? C'mon. Why we need live with this tedious part of the game? The module just eliminates that annoying pre-game ridiculous and boring task which is a waste of life time! This is why I say the module increase people QoL in the game.

Well if i were you, or i would memorize it or create a lot of teams like with random names... np  but using this module is a bit..id not sat cheat but... bleh.. stop using it!

I will continue using this module until there is an explicit rule forbidding it. I don't see any problem and I don't think it gives you an unfair advantage in knowing my team's order through the module. But calling me a cheater because of that goes beyond all limits.

With the release of this module, I deleted my old team and didn't worry about memorizing new teams anymore. I don't think this module alone increases my chances of winning. If I wasn't using the module, I would use my old team₁ that I have used for over 1 year and have memorized.

The point is that I want to play with new teams and I don't want to have to memorize new ones over and over again. Imagine if a player wants to play with a new team every game, in 100 games he will have to memorize 100 different teams (800 different worm names). Let's agree this is unhealthy. That's why I think the module increases the players' quality of life and eliminates an easy job (memorizing the sequence of 8 worms), but which is very tiring and tedious if you want to play with new teams often. The beauty of the game is in creative and tactical play. Players should not require the opponent to demonstrate the ability to memorize this type of information before the game starts. By the way, Deadcode said he's planning to include, as a scheme option, in the next update, the possibility of your team's order being shown to you.

Anyway, if it is considered that I cheated and had an unfair advantage, you can delete the victory and I will see if there is another game which I used this module in order to ask to remove.

1 If you look at the history of my games on TUS and ONL (https://tinyurl.com/c3fp5wne), you will see that I have always used this same team for over a year: Soldado, Cabo, Sargento, Tenente, Capitão, Coronel, General, Marechal. This team is so internalized in my memory that it makes absolutely no difference to use it, or a team numbered 1-8. So I don't understand why Dario thought this would give me a unfair and relevant advantage.

Really man? It's easy to play fool with Albus regarding TUS past history as he was not around as much as us but that aint happenng with me.
