If there were some legal documents written up (requiring some kind of solicitor service I'd imagine..), could something like DocuSign be using in an uploading process which covers the terms and consent of the map rights to the community/website owner?

It would make uploading maps a bit of a pain in the arse but could be a necessary process? Perhaps in time could be as effective as GDPR/cookie policies?

Cybershadow - alot of this stuff usually becomes an issue if someone does sue and complain about maps being shared, is this really likely to happen as they would have uplaoded the map in the first place?

the thing which gets me is that there is potential for the game to have some form of activity, and also retro games are becoming more and more popular.

I got my son the Nintendo switch for xmas can tell theres alot of demand for retro gaming on that console.

It's like a big marketing campaign could bring WA back to life with old generation that remembers the game, but how to pull off such a feat?

i wish i had time to play, but whenever i get free time away from family and kids i want to work towards starting my own business! I love SEO which is getting companies to the top of google results.

sometimes i wish some millionnaire would come along and do a cash tournament for wormers or maybe a PR agency so the retro gaming of worms got some interest or back in spotlight and encouraged people to play again or get a load of new players.

^^ That's if they are playing Leagues, don't care if they alias and not playing Leagues.

i don't care about previous respect or anything like that, people have a right to a change of identity.

The only problem is previous rankings in the league and using it unfairly in terms of points earned etc.

MI could approve a change of name in that case without it being publicly announced to the community.

not sure what the issue is with having a final for those two clans? easier PO qualifications may help motivate clans into playing again.

20 games min requirement, 50% winning ratio, if 4 clans its semis and final, if 3 clans its a bye for first place to final and 2nd and 3rd do a semi?

You guys played 24 games.. TUS system doesn't support 2 clan playoffs and MI sets up playoffs only when there's 4 candidates. This time we don't have enough candidates. Pn with 61 games and 44% would be ok. HCP has over 50% winning ratio but they didn't care to play even 20 games (missing 25% of games) so I don't know...

Maybe its HalloweeN?
