Don't see this happen. There will be goodies for sure, and it may just be in those terrible 'surprise' boxes, but not for cash. The game just isn't popular enough for that to work.

Got them over here as well. Begging is part of the deal. As is the 'hugging' trick, where a good-looking female hugs you for no apparent reason or comes up with some fake good cause to get you to pull your wallet. Easy rule:
If the beggar doesn't look like an alcoholic and doesn't reek of urine.. it's not the real deal and you can dismiss 'em. If they meet the criteria.. offer them food. If they deny, f* 'em. If they accept.. give them twofold.

I just wanna say that the Definitive edition of AoEII is f*ing majestic.

I'm currently re-playing the campaigns I had finished on the old version.. but ahh it feels like an entirely new adventure. Every little detail is just that little bit better. Everything looks better, everything plays better.. and there's that enormous amount of STUFF.. so many civilizations, so much map eye-candy, so many unique units that all look so much better... ahhh it's eye-gasm..
And farms that auto refresh, that too. Yay.



Gj Steps. You can see this game was made by people who love this game. People who don't go for crazy new visions of turning this into 2.5d or 3d or whatever (like T17 ), but just the focus on making every detail of this already best-ever-RTS game just a tiny bit better. It's an absolute delight to play. Well done.

I did that... Still doesn't work for me. And neither does Omega symbol. I've read both of your comments, but I just can't get it working. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I use both GIMP and mtPaint.

The one that works for me is in the attachment below.

All I did was open Paint, clicked on Black and then paint bucketted the background. Normal save. And it worked.

edit: yap. Skynet works fine, you just need to add pure, solid black (#000000) to its colour palette.

Insofar as the pink one goes.. WA seems to recognize only a particular set of colours. Particularly on the purple and cyan-side of things there isn't much to go with.
If you want it to be more purple, make it a lighter shade of purple and see if that does the trick.

Skynet shows up as a mess in my game as well.
Not sure how to fix it as I don't have PSP installed, which I used to use to make worms flags.

Have you tried creating a new plain BMP-image and copying the skynet one into it? 

Also, just a tip in general, it's sometimes good to pixel-edit the image. The supersmall size makes images hard to make out. Sometimes I emphasize aspects to make them stand out better (i.e. make blood drops bigger and brighter red), same could be helpful with the skynet one (less stripes / bigger ones, and make the red brighter)... who knows, this may even fix the visual bug.
