The last sentence states that editing is okay :0

If people like the option, you could just amend it by saying:

-For the schemes Team17, BnG, Elite, and Hysteria, if one team requests it, the host must use a unique (never played by himself or his clan) random map generated in the in-game editor for that specific game (so you must left click on a map template until getting a map you like). You may edit the map with the in-game editor if such editing is obvious, though the map must still be unique, and no using .PNG files.

And I think it would be useful to include shopper and roper. There should also probably be a rule regarding map choice if the host refuses to budge, like having a moderator host, since the hassle alone would probably force people to come to some agreement.

I don't agree BnG maps should be regenerated every time. I have a bunch of cool maps by Ramone, I always pick it randomly and everybody's happy :P

Are you sure people know it's saved? In any case, it increases everyone's skill to continually play on different maps, and there's no good reason to use repeats. Saving time shouldn't be an issue, it doesn't take much time to make a BnG map.

I wrote some general rules on map abuse a while back:

-For the schemes Team17, BnG, Elite, and Hysteria, the host must use a unique (never played by himself or his clan) random map generated in the in-game editor for that specific game (so you must left click on a map template until getting a map you like). You may edit the map with the in-game editor if such editing is obvious, though the map must still be unique, and no using .PNG files. The game may be declared void or auto-loss for you if your map choice violates this rule.
-Do not frequently choose the same map to play on in any scheme. If you really overuse a map, we may give you a warning to stop, which could lead to a short ban if it is not followed.

For shopper I think it would make sense to allow all maps, but enforce random maps if either team requests them.

That's funny, I remember Savage actually played nothing but that map in FB days too. There should definitely be a rule against more than a few uses per season, though for shopper... TUS should consider enforcing random maps since they're very easy to make from a cavern level, and much more fair.

TUS Discussion / Re: some changes

I think just counting yourself to have less hp is fine as a penalty for sitters, but you should have to skip your next go to account for potentially moving the opponent. But hitting yourself with nade or zook isn't the best idea, it could give you a better hide in some situations.

BnG rules need to be vastly simplified though, and we should stop perpetuating the idea that cheapness exists in a game to win.

-There's no reason to have a rule against straight zooks, mainly because you'll never be in a situation in which they're possible on a decent map. I can't remember a single BnG in which I reached a point where straight zooks could be performed.

-There's no point in having a rule against 1 sec nades: you can basically always do a 2 sec LG shot in any situation a 1 sec shot is feasible in, and the purpose of this rule is presumably the same as that of no straight zooks. If you're able to shoot straight at the opponent, then you're inevitably exposing your worm way too much.

-There's very little point in disallowing regular 5 sec nades, the risk for sitters is high enough to deter that. What people are really concerned about are easy roller shots, which are possible with 4 secs most of the time. If anything, regular 4 sec nades should be disallowed, especially to slightly deter 4 sec max power shots.

-Girders should just be removed. Mainly because you can't formulate a simple rule to describe when they're being used for protection versus banking; any girder you place will protect you from some shot or another. To keep girders, we would need a lengthier (and I'd say overcomplicated) rule to describe how much protection you're able to give yourself. And of course some rule seems necessary if girders are to be in the game, or else you could give yourself some insanely good hides. You could simply formulate the rule so that placing any girder allowing you the possibility of banking and hitting your opponent is fair game, though you could probably still place some evil ones that way.

-Sitters should be defined as nades that don't move for 2 frames (.04 seconds), as this could be much more easily judged than the current 1/4 second rule, without needing to check the replay. And we might as well have a lower tolerance for sitting if we can.

Live streams this time? I better get my shit together.

I think if this time gets beaten I won't be able to re-beat it... I'm guessing about 15.10 is the human limit

I don't know if I'm 'back' hehe. But yeah this map is really hard to do without at least some slowdown somewhere. I know 45 is possible, I practically had it 3 or 4 different times.

I don't see why this game was reported, there was no major advantage for either team, the obvious solution is to replay it. Which we could have done at the time, but Komo and Avi needed time to cool off. We didn't play with other players at the time because Komo wouldn't allow Avi to join, but we can probably manage to replay soon enough.

Without having looked at the replay, I'm confident that D1's analysis is right, just let cfc have it. I really wonder why BnG rules are so messed up though, sitters should simply be something like 2 frames of a nade not moving, so that people don't get anywhere close to throwing them.

Hunter X Hunter, best anime and manga ever.

I just finished reading the manga up to the current chapter recently, it really is fantastic. And they're making a new anime for it :0

TUS Discussion / Re: About AHK

avi.

With AHK - You can press 2 spaces at the SAME TIME, you can have one already pressed and held down, AND then WHILE holding one, press another, and it will fire another rope, even though it's already in use.

Without AHK - You cannot press 2 spaces at the SAME TIME, if you have pressed and are holding one space down, you cannot fire another space UNTIL that one is released.

Immortals script does not detect the use of AHK, it detects people who tap fast, not people who use AHK.

Is basically what darKz is saying to you, but you are being EXTREMELY ignorant and arrogant and not even paying attention.

This is correct, this device has nothing to do with detecting AHK >_>

I have to say, this is a pretty mediocre idea. It can catch some cheaters, but only the most obvious of obvious ones. You can easily make 2-tap macros that have 2 or 3 frames of delay, which make you look more like a genuine finger roller anyway.

Alright, the cup is over, I finished 4-1 vs chuvash, tough games. Congrats Dario, Kayz, and thanks for playing everyone.
