Tech Support / Re: High Priority?
April 16, 2015, 02:04 PM
wkAntiLag.dll is a module that will do just that. Every time you run the game, wkAntiLag will set the priority of the process to high. I'm glad to know that someone else besides me (that was a long time ago though) has ever needed the module.
You can download it here: http://worms2d.info/WormKit
I'd like to note that even if you don't experience sporadic lags in-game on your system, it might still be a good idea to install wkAntiLag to avoid any occasional lagspikes (e.g., if a program in background suddenly required more resources)

TUS does not encourage players to use HostingBuddy, because lagging and dc issues either because of wrong schemes, so forget it, there is wormkit for that.
Disconnection of HB itself happens very rarely. At the same time, having HB in your game will tell you whether it was your opponent or you dropping from the game, in case of a drop. It also prevents the kicking module from working (which is good), as you are not owner of the host.

CPU players have an ability to end their turns anytime (depending on the algorithm). It's not possible for human players to use it.

Actually, Wheat Snooper does require DLLs, and they're outdated (it contains wkPackets), so use Great Snooper.
Or install a new version of WormNAT2 that doesn't require wkPackets anymore: http://worms2d.info/WormNAT2

Tomi: goom is using a classic skin. So his right-click menu is probably different from yours. Shift+RightClick the taskbar icon to open the regular menu and close (and that option generates a different window message).

Stuff like this had previously been done, many years ago.

No, this problem still exists in the latest update.
That's not correct. This is a Windows problem, so how can it be "fixed for sure"? The update installer however fixes it.

You probably tried to host with Wheat Snooper, and it forcefully places its own (outdated) files into your game's directory. I'll make an updated build of the snooper soon to resolve this problem.

Yes. So tell me what has to be improved in the Help bot so I could make it more helpful to newcomers.

Instead of creating a new bot let's discuss how to improve the current Help bot to be more attractive to visitors of #AnythingGoes.
