This is true: My great Gran died at 92 years old, she had been smoking since she was 16(legally), although the family knew she started a few years before this cuz of the war and all that. From the age of 40 onwards, she smoked at least 60 a day, I swear I am telling the truth.

She died of natural causes and everyone who lived around her had no health issues/problems or even coughed(due to smoke), even my little cousin didn't have issues with the 2nd hand smoke and she was only 6-7 when we gathered round for Xmas.

But, saying that, we are used to everyone smoking around us here, it doesn't bother us, but, for someone who lives generally most of their life nowhere near smoke, I can see how it's bothersome, and I can see how growing up without a strong influence for smoking as I did unlike me* why you would be so against it.

I am 100% serious when I say this, if I couldn't smoke, due to MY choice and it wasn't MY choice*, I wouldn't want to live anymore.

D1, stop being cocky lol, it really doesn't suit you, for a person who claims to be so smart, you are acting like such a retard/dumbass right now, you should KNOW what my point is, and what I am getting at.

Also D1, I know, and I just don't care, and I don't mind you or CMV saying the stuff you are saying against smoking, each to their own, we will all die anyway.

*I edited the parts I wrote wrong there, said it wrong way round lol.

...all those legends about second-hand smoking, that it gives you cancer and makes your life shorter is BULLSHIT!
You believe in what you want... But after having analysed in a laboratory what a cigarette contains, and having seen its effects on animals, I do believe what I'm saying.
And again, the atmosphere does not make those toxins disappear. But... whatever, just smoke it.

1st, we are not animals, and 2nd, different peoples bodies can handle different things, some people are even rare enough to be allergic to inhaling smoke, seriously.

Comparing what humans can handle and animals, just isn't accurate and specific enough for humans, plus the fact most peoples body chemistry is different to others.

Go look it up, Komo :)
Ray, I held back! That's why I just went with "ROFL". I just can't help myself whenever someone says "it's not so bad".

Also, gosh!

But D1, you are a Doctor lol, and apparently you really really don't like smoking.

I don't care about "health" and all that, as long as you do what you can in life to enjoy it and be nice to others, and I ain't giving up smoking to "possibly" life an extra 5-10 years.

I know ALOT of facts about smoking and how "bad" it is, but it is only "bad" if you "think" it's "bad", the "bad" things about smoke, to me, is nothing compared to more important things in life, and other, much more harmless things.

In fact, the ONLY bad thing about smoking imo, is the f@#!ing price :'(

Oh gosh stop it. ;D I'm simply trying to quit smoking, not trying to start a mass debate about smoking. CMV, chill man! I hate those people who endlessly bitch about smokers, be a man and inhale it, all those legends about second-hand smoking, that it gives you cancer and makes your life shorter is BULLSHIT! It's just as likely as a meteor hitting you in the face.

Some things CAN accelerate tumour growth or make it more likely, but the chances of these are so minimal. Either be a man or ask the person smoking next to you politely to go 3 meters away. But don't be bitching like a 90-year-old!

Well said :) +1

Smoking isn't as bad as people make it out to be, yes it can kill, but so many things can kill, smoking doesn't hurt people as much as literally millions of other unexplained mysterious "accidents" and natural ways of life does, to me it's a luxury I am glad and thankful to have.

Alright, I'm gonna have to go with "ROFL" here.

How many people die from smoke(cigarettes)? How many people die from every other single thing possible, I laugh at you my friend ;)

What I meant was, mysterious accidents like, freek accidents and things people science or religion just can't explain.

hospital bill is a couple of thousand, I suppose :o

If I get cancer doing something I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really enjoy, i'll happily avoid Hospital and die happily, seriously.

Some humans are born and don't even live one day, I feel lucky and happy enough to have lived what I have lived so far, anything beyond this no matter what I can't complain.
And what about all those non-smokers who die just because they've been breathing the same air as which smokers released all that huge amount of carbon monoxide, nicotine, lead and all other toxic shit into? No offense, but they might have wanted to live...

Just wanna point out before I begin, I just lit a cig :)

What about all those non-smokers who hurt innocent people?
What about all those non-smokers who take other drugs?
What about all those non-smokers who are criminals/murderers/pedophiles/thiefs/etc and make others suffer even worse than 2nd hand smoke EVER could do?
What about all those non-smokers who do ALOT more damage to the world who drive due to pollution? (I don't drive by the way)
What about all those non-smokers who have evil secret hobbies?
What about all those non-smokers who look down on hard working, tax paying, very kind people who do anything to help someone else?
What about all those non-smokers who die for (I am guessing) at least 99% other reasons than 2nd hand smoke?
What about all those non-smokers who create other bad toxins?
What about all those non-smokers who don't smoke, but are alcoholics instead?
What about all those non-smokers who illegally download music/games/software and other media content?
What about all those non-smokers who just simply don't give a f@#! about anyone else?

I don't smoke around people I know don't like smoke, please don't assume I don't know about 2nd hand smoke and I don't care about others, I am only 25 years old I may sit and play WA alot in the last year, but i've done alot of very good and kind things in my life, and done alot of favours for people I didn't have to do, i've even saved a strangers life when I could have kept walking.

Most people I know, who smoke, are very hard working class people and will hold that door open for the person behind them, or help that old lady across the road.

Smoking isn't as bad as people make it out to be, yes it can kill, but so many things can kill, smoking doesn't hurt people as much as literally millions of other unexplained mysterious "accidents" and natural ways of life does, to me it's a luxury I am glad and thankful to have.

Ray, stick in there mate!

MI, what is the point of having a vote, if you are maybe going to just make TRL TTRR next Season? I voted for Hysteria, and i'd be pretty pissed off, as I am sure other people would be, if TTRR is the scheme that becomes the next TRL scheme.

I think Nails idea is best, take 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th too even maybe, and make those as the future TRL schemes over the next 2/3/4 Seasons.

sR / Can I join sR?
May 04, 2011, 10:39 AM
Theres only 2 schemes i've really properly cared about and have alot of passion for on WA, and that's BnG and Roping.

I used to spend countless hours getting stoned playing Warmers and quite alot with numerous members of this community :)

May I have the honour?

P.S. I promise not to bring arguements or discussions about BnG to these forums, seriously :)
