Well, after another successful 3rd season the playoffs are here again!

A big big thanks to everyone who took part in our 3rd season and congratulations to the players who reached the playoffs:

1st - wormf00d 64% - 75 points
2nd - obscure 53% - 66 points
3rd - Prankster 45% - 59 points
4th - KoreanRedDragon 77% - 56 points
5th - skime 48% - 49 points

Now as wormf00d has chosen to forfeit this months Playoffs due to being too busy to play them, 2nd - 5th will move up 1 position.

1st vs 3rd & 2nd vs 4th.

The losers of the Semi's will play each other for 3rd place, and the winners obviously play for the Final.

The pairings are as follows:

obscure vs KoreanRedDragon
Prankster vs skime

There will be individual threads where you will upload your replays and final results for the Semi's, the Final and the 3rd place decider, the winner will upload all replays (including any game they lost), this means if you won 2-1 you will still be required to upload all 3 games to the relative thread.

For example:

"PlayerName" - I won "x"-"x"

You may include any comments you wish within the thread.

Any post that does not concern the playoffs will be deleted immediately.

Actually both keyboard I got sucked, the Emprex is VERY nice for me, when I use keychanger so space is left control, it's so responsive (when I ain't drunk lol)

There are actually over 1000 people that play WA online, about 200-400 of which are active and continously playing from week to week, the rest come on rarely.

1v1 a2b Weekly BnG Tournament Tonight:

I have decided to make this Tournament earlier as some couldn't play last week because it was late on a Friday night, so hopefully this time we can all play BEFORE everyone has to go out and party

Plus, I gotta go out with the missus tonight and spend some time with her lol :S

Which will end up me still being on PC as usual as I don't have any money for about another 2 months... So many bills to pay ! Can some rich WNET guy send me like, £2000 - This will sort me out for life lol, seriously, I pay off bills ! And have all wage to spend !

So this Friday 30th July (Tonight!!!) - Party Time - 4:00pm GMT

1v1 BnG Tournament - a2b rules as usual:

Rules are as follows:

# No straight bazooka shots.
# No sitters.
# No repeat shots.

   * If you hit someone for 34 HP or less with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until you have either hit them with a different one, or you or they have moved.
   * If you hit someone for 35 HP or more with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until either you or they have moved.

# No 5 second grenades unless used with low gravity or max bounce
# All shots should be aimed to explode on impact with the opponents worm.
# Re-aim the crosshair between every turn, regardless of whether you landed a hit last turn or not.
# Don't teleport too close to your opponent's worm (try to stay at least half the map away).
# No notching unless you can't help it (ie, your perfect aim is 1 or 2 taps off vertical).
# No telecides (teleporting on your opponent when you have low health in order to inflict grave damage on them).
# No defensive girders, only use girders for bouncing nades.

Will start with at least 8 players, max 16 players

Hah, that last post made me a Hero Member :D


And yeah, I loved the days of sitting, getting stoned, playing worms.

I remember I stayed awake for 2 weeks (I swear, no lie) smoking weed, drinking Irn Bru and playing this...

Irn Bru makes me hyper by the way, it helped to stay awake, my mum and dad were on holiday.

I sleep for 3 days after this though,lol, I know you will all look at this and think, 2 weeks? Pfft no way, But I swear, when I was like 16-17 (6-7 years ago) I used to stay up for days at a time, on multiple occasions playing, WA is partly the reason why I work nightshift now, and why I can outlast anyone I know at drinking and staying awake longest lol, there's no way I could stay awake for 2 weeks now, i'm well unfit now, but I could still manage 3-4 days, if I wasn't working, and I could do anything I want.

In those 2 weeks, IMO was the best roping i've EVER done, I will NEVER do better than that.
