Quote from: GeneralEcchi on February 20, 2017, 07:33 AMi use PX version that work on 3.7.2.1 ( it did show 3.6 in the menu thou so idecay )
There is no PX for 3.7.2.1; there's a downgrader that downgrades the game to 3.6.31.0 and then installs PX. I don't remember what exactly does the installer say, but I'm pretty sure it notifies you about the necessary downgrade.

Quote from: GeneralEcchi on February 20, 2017, 05:29 AMi havent seen a single replay ( like when i deal tons of damages ) since PX installment
You're mixing up instant replays and replay files.

Instant replays are automatic in-game replays that pop up under certain conditions (such as dealing tons of damage, or doing something dumb (from game's point of view) such as accidentally killing own worms, and I think it can be manually requested by pressing R, but I never tried that) right after you've finished the turn. After you close an instant replay or fully watch it once, the game is resumed and the replay is lost and can no longer be viewed, neither it can be shared with anyone.
Instant replays are only possible in offline games; if you never played a single offline game since PX installment, that might be the reason you've never seen them. Or probably PX disables them for some reason, though I doubt that.

Replay files are recorded games of whatever games you have ever played, including offline multiplayer, online multiplayer, trainings, deathmatches, basically everything. They are stored as .WAgame files in /%WAInstallPath%/User/Games/ folder and can be opened by double-clicking them (if file associations are configured - in Steam version they might be not), or by other means of throwing them onto game's main executable (WA.exe). See also http://worms2d.info/Replay_file
Replay files can be shared, just download a replay and then open it like if it was your own replay, you don't even have to move it to the appropriate folder. I'd like to note that, since lower W:A versions cannot play replays of higher W:A versions, you'd need a separate installation of 3.7.2.1 if you only have 3.6.31.0 but wanna see 3.7.2.1 replays. Yes it's fine to have multiple copies of W:A, especially for such purposes. If anything, 3.7.2.1 installer is here.

this isn't even funny anymore

I imagine it's the only way such precise settings can be done. PX is generally not-so-friendly, as well as a bit weird and rather outdated (3.6.31.0 sucks) but that'll work.

wow this many crashes, any chances the disc or the drive are physically damaged?
maybe it'd help to create an image of WA disc? http://worms2d.info/Running_WA_without_the_CD no idea if that's any helpful, but you sure won't lose anything by trying it

haha I take my words back
at least it's copypastable now

@Jengu
remove the "url" tags so your 2nd link displays properly
you've over-thought it a bit

I'd suggest updating description as well, especially the "I Can't upload to the site" part

Quote from: Triad on February 02, 2017, 09:57 AMBig RR is far more popular and it's completely luck free.
The problem I have with turn-based RR is that even if both players fail and lose their turn at the exactly same spot on the map, they are likely to lose different amount of turn time depending on how much turn time they had left, ranging from one second to almost full turn. That is, very different weight of punishment for exactly same mistake, with the lesser one going to whoever was lucky to have the least turn time left.

Another problem are long vertical climbs, like those that require a half of a turn to get up. If you enter this area with 10 seconds left, you can't climb high enough and will fall back, resulting in those 10 seconds being taken away for an unwelcome reason. Such a situation does look like bad luck.
(Hmmm maybe if it was possible to save turn time left to use it on the next turn...)

Quote from: TheKomodo on February 02, 2017, 10:52 AMYou can't have Kaos because it requires rubberworm, and League should be as simple as possible for newcomers, it shouldn't require to install an add-on to play should it?
Installing RubberWorm is as simple as downloading the installer, launching it, Next, Next, Next, Install, done. It's 2017 there's hardly any reason to not have it installed; intentionally demoting one of the best and accessible modules makes no sense and limits the possibilities of a league.

PX's replays are known to take quite a few times more space than of normal game, as they have all necessary libs attached to them (sometimes well over 10 megabytes), to ensure that the replay plays as intended. Not much can be done with them besides deleting them frequently. I believe that an option to not save replays is planned for future W:A versions, but since PX is stuck with 3.6.31.0, you probably don't care.

W:A's maps are best displayed with max 64 colours, using more will cause certain visual glitches. See http://worms2d.info/Colour_map#Colour_limitation for more info. (Though sometimes people can intentionally add more colours to use certain glitches as if they were features.)

sooo anniversary edition is basically some shitty homemade "mod" which is no more than stolen music and WormKit modules added to the default game, with a loud name on top of that
;o)  sounds like a good mod for sure

It's 2017 already, it's a big shame to not have RW installed now
