Wormkit Modules / Re: wkshowkits
Last post by King-Gizzard - July 05, 2025, 08:37 PM
I don't think it would be possible via a Wormkit module unless everyone had the module installed.  It might be a nice feature to have baked into the next version of WA but then someone could create a module to manipulate the list of modules that it sends when requested.

There are technical possibilities to secure Wormkit module loading to an extent but it's probably a terrible idea to do it.

Is the poop the Bazooka?

I was thinking to make a scheme called Poop 💩 (or Shit) for Weapons involving mines. You have to poop first, then based on where the mine fell you need to use that weapon. I was brainstorming about this in Argentina with sbs based on Godmax's posts.

Your idea seems different, maybe a replay would be good, for all the poops of us apes, either ladies or gentlemen.

Wormkit Modules / Gamepad support mod release [w...
Last post by morni228 - July 05, 2025, 02:19 PM
Phew... Finally finished it. Kinda.

You'll find the mod itself plus control customization program here: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/srDrlvR3OEtKTA

Installation:
1. Run the game and enable wormkit modules support in settings, obviously.
2. Download the archive
3. Unpack it to any location of your choice.
4. Run wk-gamepad-config.exe

The mod will be installed and you'll see the  control customization program window. It may be a little complicated, but I have left a lot of explanations thoughout the program; just hover the row in a table that you're confused with and you'll see a popup with explanation. Also there are blue question marks with tooltips too.

Both DirectInput and Xinput are supported, however, Xinput is more recommended (if your gamepad supports it) as it has more clear button/axes names.

For Wine users: run the program's exe within the Wine prefix you use to run the game.

Large credits to @nizikawa as he taught me everything from scratch. Now he can be kinda proud of his student :D

Quote from: Korydex on July 05, 2025, 08:59 AMthanks! btw how is that one so glitchy ;D

I just tried reproducing that bug again and I got a similar result (see the attachment). It has to do with the feature of wkTerrainSync of amplifying maps and the preview button, specially the remove colour feature, I believe. Not sure which custom terrain I used when I got the glitch of the map you played, maybe it is the "Dark" terrain or that one "Woodman".

By the way, you didn't use the most powerful weapon of the scheme in your game: the Air Strike. I'm thinking about nerfing it, or increase the delay. I need to test the scheme with more ammo for ropes, I think it is needed. Fast Walk I'm considering to add, too. The Fall damage I need to test if it's better to keep it 100% or 200%. I think I only tested with 50% FD and it is not good.

Watching your game I realized that the grave damage is x2 if your turn didn't end, but if the turn ended, it is normal power. So, first shotgun shot = x2 grave damage, the second shot is regular grave damage.

Nobody has anything to say? If there is a reason for lack of respond then perhaps I missed something? Either way, I think it would be nice module to have, let alone a feature built into the game. At least Kaleu likes the Idea :)

Quote from: Korydex on July 04, 2025, 05:42 PMlooks cool! but where to find the scheme?

I still want to finish it before releasing officially. I need to test a lot of things. The provisory version I posted here.

There is a variation by debilius that was officially released, but I didn't try it yet.
