Never understood that "remix maps".. What's up with that? You take someone else's hard work, change few lines, and give yourself a credit to put your signature on it.  :o

Imo, that should be strictly forbidden!

Watch that guy on wmdb for example - @Captain55. He remixes old shopper maps, but don't change their structure and details. Guy just makes surf shopper out of them. He basically do it to be playable on other f@#!ing scheme. That's what i call a remix!

(no hard feelings..)

Well, generally speaking in my eyes a remix is like seeing an idea with a nice foundation but having a vision for a different outcome.

For example I have remixed a few Darts maps because I saw problems with the originals so I remixed them to make them more appropriate for competitive games.

I've seen people remix Roper/Shopper maps with different colours, and slight variations which are nice.

I've also remixed some music purely because I enjoy the melody but vision a different pace or different emotions throughout "the journey" of listening.

Remixing stuff should definitely 100% NOT be forbidden, in fact should be encouraged, it's a form of creativity/imagination and being creative and imaginative are of the most awesome things about life.

I love remixes as long as they are different in an obvious way, whether I personally enjoy the remix or not is irrelevant, I will always support remixes.

It is extremely lame the fact Pizza doesn't link the original maps though, it's that attitude that ruins the beauty of remixing, should always give credit where it's due.

well if you read... i gave full credit to exzo... and added him as author..... but if it wasnt for me this layout wouldnt exist...... I could have made this layout with my own rainbow colours like my other maps and given exzo no credit. But Like I wrote... full credit to exzo..

Pizza, you never linked his map though, and in the map you scored his name out with a line and put your name next to it, that's hardly giving someone credit is it? Also many people won't even zoom into the map to properly even see that.

Maybe your intentions weren't so selfish, but your lack of research made it look entirely selfish.
