Hahaha ye, it was really quick, wasn't it?


I made this topic because the new Great Snooper isready to be released soon, but since it's not just a bux fix, but the whole application has got rewritten I would like to ask you to test it, because I don't want to release it with a bunch of bugs. It would be cool to test if the issues you experienced in the actual version are still here or not.


This version of the snooper doesn't have installer, you need to extract the zip archive somewhere on your computer. I don't suggest you to overwrite the actual version of the snooper on your computer, because this version CAN HAVE BUGS.


I will update this post when a new test version of the snooper is ready. So I will upload the corrected one here to be tested.


Please report in this topic the bugs you found including the operating system you use, a description about how you managed to cause the bug and maybe a picture if needed.


The new things are:
- everything, because it has new code
- new notificator
- languages (the latest features still need to be translated, i will send pm soon to translators)
- alternative wa support
- some new irc commands for GameSurge, like /join #channel
- snooper rank for tus login
- new wormnat2
- I will finish this list later, coz i always forget what i made xd

Hoho, finally arrived!

Glad to see you fixed that "energy safe mode while playin". In old version, snooper was crashing every 10 minutes or so, if that box was checked. Also nice thing is that it's compatible with new Wormnat2. No more error msgs while hosting games. Picking theme color is what gives me a boner too..

Ok, enough of this.. I'm gonna speak up if there will be any problems.

Hmmm, some Polish strings must be shortened or simply particular controls/boxes need resizing a bit.

And where are the translators' nicknames? 

ADD: also no Italic font for other Gs users.

1. Where's "join these channels on startup" option? I remember seeing it at General tab in 1.4.9, but now it's gone. Or not?

I can see that checkboxes were moved a bit to the left, and descriptions should now be even shorter. We were not ready for something like that.
Maybe move checkboxes to the left side of the window? Like this:



This should give a bit more free space for descriptions.

After I hit the X button, GS tries to re-connect to the server instead of closing... The "Connecting..." thingy seem to stay here forever.

1) New popup window slows WA
2) After minimizing GS resets selected sorting type.
3) Checkboxes should be on the left side indeed.

Few more things:

1. Why disallow typing/copy-pasting of wa.exe address right into the box? For me, it's faster to type it than to select the file through the "Browse" button. (Same goes for all similar text boxes. Though I'm not sure if these are actual text boxes...)

2. Left-clicking on GS icon in tray results in an empty pop-up message which ignores the red X button.

3. The "LOG IN" button doesn't become gray when the window is inactive.

Also, if GS switched to Russian, a nickname can not be "`Xan-GS-1-5", only "`XanGS15". Eng works well.

Hey Tomi i think i've found a bug.

If i join a game while league finder is active, after asking "would you like to turn off league search?" the snooper crashes. Or at least it happens to me, i'm using win10.

ENG > RUS > ENG, this menu is still RUS.

Now GS started to crash every 1-4 minutes...

^ That's what happens to me all the time. I hoped so much it'd be fixed in 1.5, but nope, GS still crashes upon a disconnection. That's quite sad.

Its beta, dont be upset xD

Bug number 2: if i copy a text line which contains an hyperlink the snooper crashes.
