Description:

This is going to be a unique fort cup because now you are the very builder of your own fort!
How does this work?

You start on a special map for this scheme only: https://www.tus-wa.com/maps/map-18398/
This is the battlefield where you and your opponent are going to shoot each other.
As for the classic fort scheme, choose a side and put your worms on the left or right girder of the map. There is only one single girder for each player at the start at the bottom of the map where the architecture journey starts. You start with a set of 9 girders from which you will build your fort.

You play with 3 worms per player.

Some basic rules:

1) Invading is forbidden! Do not invade your opponent's girders/fort by jumping or walking on the other side.
2) Attack only from the girders belonging to your side. If you have a skunk or a mole to attack with, you must
let them go from your own side to the opponent's base.

You instantly lose the match if you fail to respect the rules above.

Water will rise early and slowly and many crates will fall on your fort. Don't worry if you collect only girders,
some nice weapons might drop from the crates later on.

Group stage: best of 1
KO stage: best of 1
Finals: best of 1

The scheme was invented by TBikelis, link here: https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3667/
Example replays can be found here, go check out how the scheme itself works: https://www.tus-wa.com/files/file-2585/

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd pos players will be rewarded with custom made medals for their TUS profiles. (See down below)

vesuvio is removed from the players, right now we have 9 joined. we'd like to start this cup with either 10 or 12 players, anyone else interested, come join ^^

It would be much more interesting and dynamic if at the beginning of turns 5-8 a "set of beams" would be available and then the standard weapon of the scheme would be opened, which would allow you to create your own fort. and this map no higher than 800px

Thanks for you suggestion kirill ^^

the map should indeed have limits by height I agree on that, but sadly we can't change anything about the scheme now, it's not even ours. but you guys can discuss some rules or whatever among yourselves so the gameplay would improve.

Lupastic

This was quick, group 1 is finished. Remaining matchups don't need to be played because stat-wise Ledan and Sibasa are advancing for sure no matter what happens in the last two matches. Group 2 has a long way to go :D

Lupastic

And btw sorry to everyone, this scheme really has some problems and flaws. It's a bit without sense here and there, problem was that we didn't remix it and make it more balanced. We did test it but somehow missed how broken some features are. The cup goes on though and the goal remains the same; kill enemy worms ;)

kirill470

I gave a demo of what I imagine a self-built fort should be like. I don't know if anyone has done this or if I'm the first.

It looks like a good idea, well done (: This is what I had in mind as well originally, having Girder Packs and not single Girders. If you want, you could host a Fort Architecture 2.0 cup after this ends ;) Echiko and I'm doing the same - sometimes we pick and remix certain schemes and turn them into a more playable version and host a cup out of it. (e.g: our first Lucky Strike cup) However this time unfortunately we decided not to touch anything inside Tbikelis' original architecture scheme which might have been a tiny mistake.

We are looking for a player to replace Foxhound, anyone wants to join? You'll have fresh stats, starting from 0

Lupastic

Ok Foxhound is replaced by GonZaLO
