Basically, the rating advantage is gone and everybody starts at the base rating and you need to fight your way up with this system. The only difference with having a new league altogether is that winning against a top player rewards you accordingly.

mmm nope? elite overall ranking behaves same as before, so won't be harder OR easier.

season ranking is where the main change happened.
