Well I'm game for how people want this to go.  I haven't started it yet.

Should we have a few winners who go through to a final vote, where each player gets a minute instead of 30 seconds?

Kinda goes against the ethos of Showcase though.

I created Showcase after looking at all the different pro wormers and how they all have different skills and talents.  So the idea was for people to submit replays which showcase their unique skills and abilities as wormers.  The voting / competition was really an afterthought.

Now Showcase is a replay contest which is cool because people are being careful to choose high quality replays and this makes for a fine movie ;O

But how can people just pull out new replays for a second round?  Some replays a one in a thousand flukes or feats of skill.  They don't turn up every day and we shouldn't expect them to.

Needs to be structured differently somehow; or kept the same.

One idea that came to mind. 

The knockout stage could be some games played.  The player then gets to choose moments from those games to use as their knockout showcase?

I don't think that clan is good idea too, well that's because some clans die, some news create, and for example in this moment I'm clanless but I feel wQw xD

To truly show someones skill just CANNOT be done in 30seconds lol, especially with alot of different schemes, if I had known this I woulda submitted some other stuff instead lol, I thought it was just a video with some cool shots etc.

Keep this as previous content, id say. Winners shouldnt be treaten that seriously, since everyone can vote. Also not neccesarly winner has to be active or that succesfull to pull off new moves for playoff.

Well, no wonder I didn't understand what he meant cuz I never said I had new replays, I never even said I had anything else to submit, I just said I would have submitted something else, I woulda looked out some ridiculously cool looking, but totally lucky shots lol.

I gotta agree with Maciej here, would be cool to see country flags of players, and maybe their clan.
