Here is a 175.08 attached that I got using Tool Assist by retrying a few sections where I messed up.

The run I just submitted, 186.88, was a record pace run ahead of RopeGPTv1 that I screwed up in the most stupid way at 110 seconds... Then after finishing that I used TA to take control where I messed up at 110 and I got 177.

Was definitely my best run yet though and a new PB so I'm happy with that, I know my potential can theoretically reach 172/173 seconds because even that TA run I've submitted has a few mistakes.

Sorry I made a mistake with RopeGPTv1 score, I didn't realize you could touch the ground before the finish, sorry! I'll get MI to update that.

It is fixed.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.

I'm not sure if my consistency will improve within the 10 days left, but I'm going to try my best!

My current record at 186s was roping normal though(left hand on spacebar and right hand on arrows) I'm more consistent but slower at certain moves. I used TA to finish that turn where I made the mistake and got 177s, however that's before I realized you can finish your worm on the ground before finish! So I could have got 176 if I knew that.

Now I'm roping invert(using WASD with left hand and right hand on spacebar) as I'm much faster this way, though even more inconsistent! I can get between 170 and 175 if I can do every move without fail and make zero mistakes, I'm thinking even sub 170!

That's a very fast time by RopeGPTv1 but we can definitely go faster! If you watch his replay and pause it at exactly 10 seconds in, I can get to that point at about 8.80 seconds when I nail the start flawlessly as I discovered a more optimized start last night while streaming.

My first "major split", which is the point where I know I'm on a 170 pace time is the point in his run where he connects the rope at 52.54 seconds, I've managed to get there once at 51.30 seconds however that was before I discovered the faster starting method which saved a second. So I'm sure a flawless run could make it to that connection at 49-50 seconds.

I'm waiting for Deadcode to see if he can make up a TA build where you can use WASD instead of arrows to test this theory.

Lol Komo, isn't this too much for a rope-based challenge? It seems you are getting obsessed with all this XD.

this, rather, it takes more skills to complete this without making a fall or fail and for a big rr map like this there is no route to learn like a robot ^^ you gotta rope with ur insticts and be fast like that. and also need to take 5 crates

As much as I hate the stupid spikes that cause the rope collision glitch, I just love this map... It has such a nice flow to it and there are a bunch of really nice techniques to it.

Also, for me Big RR, is one of the most skill based schemes there is, I'm not interested in collecting crates, just pure speed demon stuff 🤣🤣

It feels like it is Masta, but there has always been a part of me that doesn't think it is.

Although they have similarities to Masta, and are definitely very fast, they aren't as fast as Masta or myself with specific moves and sections. Though definitely as consistent as Masta, if not more so.

There are about 5-10 players who I think are fast/experienced enough to be this person. It would also be a welcome surprise if it's someone we don't even know or suspect lol.

I wish you could reveal who you are though, it sucks that you hide behind an alias and even more so that I cannot congratulate you for who you really are and maybe even do challenge attempts together like what thewalrus/stjimmy and I have been doing together.

I'm actually hoping that Masta, knowing that he's a very good programmer, got involved with AI and somehow created an AI bot that can actually rope...

That's a very interesting turn by RopeGPTv1 there!

174.16, with a lot of mistakes! 170 is definitely possible!

For me personally, I struggle with the first 20 seconds.. Once I get consistent with that I'm sure I'll start producing sub 180s pretty easy.

173.7 now! RopeGPTv1 keeps getting faster and faster lol, roping a lot different from their 1st attempts.

Well, is it Masta or Sir-J, or RopeGPT,
He bombs a new time in with 171.78s

Geez, Wonder if he/she/it can go under 170.
