At first, they didn't seem very fast, though it's weird because every replay they keep getting faster and faster with their reflexes...

Their scrolling gets faster, their double taps get faster, their bounces get faster...

Their first few attempts had me thinking they were easy to beat, though now they are able to do moves at the same speed I can except they have the consistency I haven't had for over 10 years lol.

Now it's getting annoying not knowing who it is. They rope even faster than Masta now.

So here is proof that sub 170 is possible without any mistakes, attached is a tool assisted run using some save states to get a full run with no mistakes which I did live on stream today,

This shows my potential to hit 165s, as there were a few sections where I intentionally took a little safer to make it more realistic and give some room for improvement. It didn't even take that long to be honest.

@Big Billy:

My recent attempt here I am not sure if it will count, as I touched the corner of the end... I still see it as touching the same line that's connected to finish but not sure what you think.

Pretty happy with that run anyway even if I did still lose about 4-5 seconds to stupid mistakes...

I count it as my new PB anyway.

I decided to do the end of the save state run I did with TA again and improve it to do it the fast method that RopeGPTv1 did, not sure how the hell they managed to do that in an actual run though that is insane timing for that one part.. I'm growing more and more suspicious of them every day lol.

166s though!

Could probably beat 01i if I practiced long enough but that'll do. Fun challenge!

Surely M-real is Masta? Looks like his style of roping, slower but actually faster. :D

We know that RopeGPTv1 is Sir-J now as well.

Edit - I am going to start making Challenges and one of the conditions is only known players are allowed to compete, no aliases. If nobody of importance recognizes you, then you're out.

Getting fed up with these aliases for real... What do you accomplish by hiding who you are unless you are cheating?

Something tells me it isn't Masta... This person has submitted 2 records, the first being 185s, then a ridiculous 15 second improvement to 170... Masta got a 179 live on stream like a week ago, so why would he submit a 185 when he already has a 179 before submitting the 170.28...

As far as I'm concerned they are cheaters until they can prove otherwise. I don't trust people who cannot show their real identity and never will.

Edit - At least Masta and I show we're legit by streaming live.

Edit #2 - Oh yeah, the 185 was for another map, so nvm that lol.

Got a point there.

It is getting frustrating with the second alias joining getting highscores.
It also just could be RopeGPT with another alias.

You know what bothers me the most though...

I absolutely LOVE this game... We're a very small community... It's a shame that potentially some of the best players have to be so deceitful and hide their identities instead of being a part of the community.

I'd love to have more friends who are at this level of skill because it's very rare these days to meet other S Tier Ropers. I definitely have the speed and always have since the early days of WA, though I struggle these days to have the same level of consistency though I feel like the past week that I've been really enjoying this Challenge and I'm closing the gap and improving again to reach my peak again.

It's also healthy for inspiration and fair competition to know who you are playing against.

There is something to be said for truth and integrity among top players, it's much more admirable than getting some cheap laughs from some meaningless temporary aliasing.

M-real is Masta. He has locked himself out of his real account. No aliasing there.
Due to massive misunderstandings: MonkeyIsland refers to an island not a monkey. I would be a monkey, if my name was IslandMonkey meaning a monkey who is or lives on an island. MonkeyIsland is an island which is related to monkeys. Also there's been a legend around saying MonkeyIsland is a game. So please, think of me as an island or a game.
