Description:
.: a2b League proudly presents :.

***   The a2b Championship Cup   ***

.: The time has finally come for the ultimate BnG Cup :.

**   Free entry   **

**   32 players max   **

**   Cash prizes to be won   **

1st place: £50
2nd place: £25
3rd place: £15
4th place: £10

a2b Championship Rules:

  1. No straight bazooka shots.

   2. No sitters.

   3. No repeat shots:

          * If you hit someone for 34 HP or less with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until you have either hit them with a different one, or you or they have moved.
          * If you hit someone for 35 HP or more with a shot, you can't use that same shot again until either you or they have moved.

   4. No 5 second grenades unless used with low gravity or max bounce

   5. All shots should be aimed to explode on impact with the opponents worm - No 3s grenades with 4s fuse, no rollers.

   6. Re-aim the crosshair between every turn, regardless of whether you landed a hit last turn or not.

   7. Don't teleport too close to your opponent's worm (try to stay at least half the map away).

   8. No notching unless you can't help it (ie, your perfect aim is 1 or 2 taps off vertical).

   9. No telecides (teleporting on your opponent when you have low health in order to inflict grave damage on them).

  10. No defensive girders, only use girders for bouncing nades.

  11. No Darksiding - You are not allowed to use a hide where you cannot aim directly at your opponent - If you are pushed into a hide and all you can do is zook/bank grenades, you may attempt up to 3 return shots and if any are successful you must move immediately to a hide where you have a direct angle to shoot towards your opponent, this prevents players hiding in such a way that their opponent has no means of a direct shot giving the "darksider" an unfair advantage.

Groups - Best of 3

Knockouts - Best of 3

Final/3rd Place Decider - Best of 5

When deadlines are in place, there will be absolutely no 2nd deadlines, anyone who fails to finish their games by the 1st deadline will automatically forfeit and be removed from the Cup

Anyone who breaks any rule shown above will automatically lose and will be disqualified from the Cup

The b2b community will judge any incident of any rule broken that seems intentional or unintentional and will decide if such action is necessary

Obscure hasn't been able to arrange a time with me, hopefully we can both go through? Kind of disrespectful to SPW and Husk though, who both played all 3 games.

Casso, you will go through if Twyfher doesn't finish his games, if he wins 1 more, he will go through and you won't.

Mablak, you and oby will pass because you have both won more games than Husk and SPW, furthermore, the only game left is Mablak Vs Obscure, you have both beat the other players in your group, I thought this would have been obvious to you lol.

Casso, I added you right now to msn. I sent you both (casso and Smilodon) a PM some days ago with my msn and nothing happened -.-

Now, it's obvious that you wont appear at wormnet or msn, what for...

How it's supposed that I could play with Smilodon, when he as 0 post on TuS forums, last day online was: February 06, 2011, 10:53 am, and his email is "hidden"? with no ICQ, AIM, MSN, YIM, XFire.

How could I contact?  >:(

*** KNOCKOUTS STARTED - GOOD LUCK ! ***

Group 3 - madog gets advanced, both madog and surgeon are drawn, won and lost the same amount of games, but madog beat surgeon which is the deciding factor.

Group 7 - shasper didn't win any games, Abnaxus and dilligaf both won 1 game against GreeN, this is a really tough call to make choosing between them but I am going to have to let dilligaf through to the next Round, the deciding factor is dilligaf is more active than Abnaxus and I have seen dilligaf making more effort to try and arrange his games.

Group 6 - Obscure and Mablak both 2-0 in sets, winning and losing an equal amount of games, so to decide who is 1st and 2nd (for the pairings of KO), I flipped a coin, Mablak was tails and won so he's 1st.

Twyrfher, you had 1 month (and some hours) to get your games done, Casso must advance because he won more individual games.

Anyone who didn't have "time" to finish their games, may I remind you I sent everyone a PM at the start warning about the Deadlines and to let me know ASAP if you couldn't finish your games, also I posted numerous warnings throughout the Cup reminding people time was running out, remember, you accept these consequences at your own risk.

Good luck in the Knockouts everyone, remember the Deadline is 2 weeks, I suggest tying to organise your games ASAP because if you don't get them done, you won't make it through, the player who has shown proof they have made the effort to play, will be awarded the advancement.

Hmm I know, and at least 16 of those 30 days Smilodon wasn't available to play and Casso didn't need me to play for advance :/ (plus giving erroneous information in his profile, for contact him, thing that I'm trying to do via PM since 2 weeks ago).

Anyway, gl with the tourney, Gal, Casso.

I have seen Smilodon on AG almost everyday for the past 2-3 months, and most of the times it's hosting "bng" lol.

Maybe it's a conflict of timezones, this is why you should try your BEST to arrange games with opponents from the start of events like this, even on the worst timezone difference you should be able to find 1 hour to play 3 games within 31 days.

Do not worry though, there will be more a2b Cups in the future, your glory will not end here :)
