I'd be also happy to replace someone if there are inactive players.  :-*

Well I only joined this cup to show avi/this scheme some support, I haven't played a Roper in such a long time I don't think i'd give it as good a chance as you could, I have no problem stepping aside for a player of your caliber.

So with my blessing lol, Random can take my spot in this Cup, and i'll add that if anyone drops out, I am available to play :)

ok guys... here are some tips..

cr8s = 23... so an attack is obviously more valuable then a single crate

2 cr8s = 46, so a full power attack, is again more valuable then 2 cr8s, unless your in need of health.

cr8 + attack is obviously always a good turn, i guess that goes without saying...

zooks, and low timer nades are good to use when you need to get a pile.

if you have to use retreat time to pile a farther worm, or collect a farther cr8, using a 4 second nade for your attack is a good tactic, when it explodes, you know you have 1 second remaining for retreat time.

also, if there is a cr8 on the map no one is going after, you can hide in a place that tempts you opponent  to collect it, but unless hes really quick chances are he will fail, and lead you to the cr8....

also, a slightly more complex map can sometimes be more fun... but any map works.. gl hf :D

Waiting for you in AG dude  :)

You also gotta calculate the possibility of that crate falling into your opponents hands though. If you leave a crate out there that your opponent can collect you actually lose 46 that turn (and the 'in need of health' thing applies).

>Attack instead of collect:
(Player: #1=HP collected / #2=Dmg dealt / #3=HP of each player after turn (starting point is '200') / #4=HP difference between you and opponent).
Me:  0 50 150 -46
Op: 46 50 196

>Collect and no attack:
Me: 23  0 173 -50
Op: 23 50 223

So yeah. Attacking is better (50 compared to 46), but it will take both players to 0 sooner. If you're behind, you may consider taking the crate instead to spare some time.
All this of course only applies when your opponent can 'surely' take the crate (both his own and yours), dunno if that really happens all that often.

edit: the scheme is good Avi, but there's 1 thing I don't like about it. Once you're behind it is dämn difficult to get back into the game. When you're within the 50HP range there's no way you can turn the game around anymore, you're as good as dead. (any point on the map is reachable within 13 sec without the need to get a health first; and even if you do manage to pick BOTH crates every turn, you still lose 4 HP).

thats why a more complex map is better hhc... you can actually run...  for your life, with your 18 seconds of total turn time, and hope that opponent cant reach you in his 15 seconds to attack...

but any map will do to be honest, an easier map, you just have to play with less mistakes and more skill...

this skill was created to introduce more skill to this scheme, rather then luck....

how do you have chances to come back in regular roper??? hiding hard and praying your opponent gets a hard crate, right???

i know because i have done it so many times as well... it gets boring, same thing every game...

w2roper is (almost) pure skill, and good strategy to get the win, kill or be killed.....

not: "woops, bl... your not able to attack this turn, head to the other end of the map to get that cr8"
