It's having another crisis  :-[

All started about 4 or 5 days ago. It crashed all of a sudden while surfing the web.
Not a big deal cause that happens sometimes, but this time it wouldn't turn back on.
Well actually it did, but within a tenth of a second it would turn off again.. judging by the sounds.

Next morning it would go a little bit further before crashing again. Later that day it managed to get to desktop and all seemed to run fairly fine.
The day after that I think a crash on first start up. Ran fine after that. Yesterday started up well straight away.
Late at night though: screen froze, had no option but to turn it off .. restarted, same issue as 5 days ago: on/off/on/off/on/off  >:(

The errors that I have received were: one time I got 'BAD POOL CALLER', second time I got 'MEMORY MANAGEMENT'.
I let it do the chkdsk /f on C: and it fixed some, but the issue remains.
Lastly, lately I'm getting 'flashes' when I play video games, little horizontal white stripes flashing through the animation. Might not be related.

Anyway, sounds like a problem with the RAM? Would you say it's something physical?

nino

3 years for 1 pc = 132 for 1 man

all in one...hmmm i hope it has atleast flash disk..like ssd or a disk faster than that.. cos all in one computer with 5400RPM hard disk ull sui in 3 days or heart attack ae

edit : cos king!

To see if it's the RAM, run MemTest86 for a few hours.

HHC

Got my new PC today, just a normie desktop from Lenovo.

Installed Chrome, spotify, steam

Put 2 games for download in steam

BSOD... memory management error.

Nothing happens, computer won't restart, had to shut it off.

Normie desktop from lenovo? Normal would be laptop from lenovo, not a desktop.

If you use same PSU, problem is that. Probably died.
If it's completely new PC with same problem as last one, only logical explanation would be something is happening with electrical installation in your house :/

Adnan, we have a case over here..

The Extremist

Good modern power supplies have all kinds of protection features. Either it's NOT a good modern power supply, or your home wiring is seriously borked, or really bad luck.

Anubis

Try using the PC in a different room/house to verify if it's not some weird electrical wiring issue of the room/house.

nino

bl ae.

dont lose time with shits!!

buy another house and move on!  :D :D

it could be the power... but dunno. I've tried moving to a different room, but no difference.

Gonna check in another room tonight. Ty for the help. Power shits is something that was on my mind.

nino

RAM maybe, or maybe check capacitors on motherboard/GPU? They might have got a rust.

Lmao, stop buying broken PCs from the fraud shop. :D
No idea on this one....

P.S. Xan, also help please.

Edit: Also, as Sensei said there would be a problem in electricity. So, better get a stablizer for CPU.

HHC

I checked the contacts in the wall, it's doing normal 220v. Can't be the problem I think  :-[

Today old PC works again lol. Arrr.
