It's the same, still anon ... sometimes ppl press teh button just for entertaiment not for any reason just to see the reputation of teh guy going down so if i t wasnt anon this would change so they have to give a reason of why tehy are flaming or at least the smitted/applauded dude will know whos doing it.

What about setting a limit of how many times you can applaud/smite during one season (or one month)? Then you coudn`t abuse the system like it is possible right now, and you would have to think twice if the post really deserved an applaud or a smite

Personally I think giving reason why appluad/smite will make people don't use this system anymore. They applaud/smite by one click meaning because that is easy. Making it harder will make em forget about the whole thing. when someone smites he knows that no one can find out it is him otherwise he would make wars.

In my experience, some people just love to smite no matter what you post. They only see smite link and enjoy clicking it.
The current limit for each player is 12 hours and that is not short. Maybe 24 hours?

If the ppl who used to smitte applaud doesnt do it nemore coz the smitted- appluded guy will know than the one whos doing it its just a coward and cowards hide behind an annon feature like this one, i just want it to be not annon because everyone diserves to know everything, secrets on a community are bad and that feature is secret so it's bad imo.
