Actually now that you say it, MI.. If those hats have a collision mask and do not count as the worm itself, it would probably lessen the damage from dynamites/mines on the worms' hat head. And the worm wouldn't fly. By WA standards. Nevermind, probably useless post, gotta wait and see what the hats do. :P
I remember knowing who it was but dont remember exactly what I knew

Would be cool if you could shoot the hats off and it wouldn't harm the worm. You know like in some old western movie.  8)

For a fact, the physics in WR (not only the roping) look extremely odd and not the least bit "natural" from the view of a WA player.

yeh, loads of things. The other thing I remember is seeing a worm slide up and over terrain like a ramp after falling down onto the terrain!? The people saying that they tried to make it as much like wa must have forgotton how wa plays, or not know the physics as well as others because its very, very obvious that its all completely different. Still I'd agree that we cant make a proper judgment until we've tried it, although its obvious to see how different and UN LIKE wa this game looks.

+ how are you meant to do accurate drops with those hats?

bah ffs... what makes WA the best worms game ever? The physics!!! The physics are accurate down to the pixel, why dont they realise this when they make these shit games lol

We forget how popular worms actually is, almost everyone knows about worms, not how WE play it, but they've usually played the game or owned a worms game. They make these new games for the masses, not the masters!

sorry im like 2 weeks late, but ^ rocks lol

edit: oh and i wanna see them make pumps and skidows there

another edit: team17 can say anything they like to try please all the W:A players, how rope is the same in W:R, but thats just how a company works

Looks like a lot the psp worms game.
I didn't like it because the motion engine wasn't good.
Throwing a nade that does not bounce, not being able to get speed while roping :(.
I'll give it a try but I don't expect too much of it.

I`ve noticed many oldschoolers stopping by to say hi are being `hated`, like Jmoberg at the team17 forums, pure flamethread... Some wormers find them a bit selfgood and arrogant I think :o Welcome to TUS though, Strato :)

Jmoberg went to T17 forums!? mad.

Alot of people are complaining about the potential different physics of WR but on the other side won't it be enjoyable to learn and master a new game? If you wanna play WA then we still can, but we can try a new type of worms. Remember how disappointed we all were because WWP was just the same as WA? Now T17 has given us something different to try from a 2D worms prespective!
