I have my doubts as well. The terrain looks too 3d-ish IMO, when a game is 2d there's no need to make it look like it's really 3d 
The mine and barrel also look weird, as if they are cut back on width. The hats seem more annoying and stupid to me than a real addition to the game.

WA is perfect as it is, the only thing they needed to do was make it available on Steam (with ranks) and cash in.

Some new weapons like magnets or sentry gun.. There's opportunity for new tactics.

bah ffs... what makes WA the best worms game ever? The physics!!! The physics are accurate down to the pixel, why dont they realise this when they make these shit games lol

We forget how popular worms actually is, almost everyone knows about worms, not how WE play it, but they've usually played the game or owned a worms game. They make these new games for the masses, not the masters!

Totally agree with you Nail. I mean the fact that they develop another 2D Worms shows that they know what the people want but instead of analysing exactly what made this game so popular they completely re-newal the physics into some crap... wasted chance, the new weapons could ve really brought some new tactics in this game.

Although I agree with you guys, I think this game will be succesfull, maybe not for our community, because we got so used to WA already, but I'm positive about it and I'm sure some of us will play that game also.

Just think from their prospective, who's bothered to spend a year working on a game to be sold for like, what, 200 people? They want other people to be involved.
