maybe its time to make worms great again?

You got a time travel machine? ;)

I agree with komo, noobs and trends make the big cash. Not oldies that linger on forums.

Is there still bad blood between FOS and BUI? xD

same about komo and b2b, I wonder if they still "hate" eachother. Time heals everything, so I am curious when that happens. :P

No, I don't even know a person infected from it.

Worms WMD really isn't THAT BAD. The problem with it is that it needed more development time as well as a closed beta with experienced Wormers.

I still play WMD frequently and have a lot of fun with it. I know that a lot of people here think that any Worms title post-WWP is complete trash but I disagree. I think there are good ideas in all of them. Team17's failure is recognizing what is good and not carrying it over to subsequent titles. They need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel and instead just make each game incrementally better, despite the inevitable bitching about how each new game isn't that much different from the last.

If they spent like 6-8 more months developing WMD with good feedback and effort it could smash W:A, honestly.

As far as the new game goes, I can only assume that it is going to be a 3D title, or 2.5D at best based upon the renders in that video. The noobs and casuals are dying for another 3D Worms title. I know this because I talk to a lot of them, and I guess Team17 is compelled to answer. This will be the first game that I don't pre-order. Against all reason I have had blind loyalty to the Worms franchise for a very long time and I just can't support them anymore if they are going to continue to make stupid decisions regarding my beloved franchise. They really need to start listening to longtime fans instead of catering to noobs and trends.

Don't you rant regularly on the WMD steam forum how bad WMD is? Crafting being the worst offender making every weapon on the fly.. I remember lengthy posts from you between guys on the forum on how bad the game is. Heck, lots of the regulars there see you as a "hater". lol

The best drivers in the world:

Shocked to see such "bad" numbers. All numbers are below average, typical average reaction time is 200ms.

Found the site they used: https://f1-start.glitch.me/

My times: 170 and 149.. maybe mouse click is better and tapping on mobile is garbage?

Play more twitch based games, like shooters.

average 207

was on cocaine at the time of the last test, surprising it slowed me down

reaction time getting better

Also disproves all these studies that claim as we age reaction time gets slower, they always claim 25years is peak reaction time, it's bullshit. Reaction time can be trained. It's like a muscle. Sure when you get too old even a body builder will lose muscle mass, but it's not like you can't train your body to be quick or strong, even as old f@#!. Some is genetics, rest is training. Gaming is excellent reacting time training.

As we grow older most just spend less and less time on their body performance, lots don't care anymore. Just work, f@#! and sleep. Always hated the thought of just living and not striving to perform good (physically/mentally). I wanna be a 70yo that outplays a 16yo in roping/FPS game. XD

Not sure if this 18ms was sickest reaction ever or lucky missclick. But there's average..

Anything below 100ms is inhuman anyway (according to science), I had a couple of "prediction" clicks as well which I disregarded and started the test again. If your average is like 200 and you get one out of 20 with 50ms it's very likely a prediction click/miss-click.

Quote"The fastest possible conscious human reactions are around 0.15 s, but most are around 0.2 s. Unconscious, or reflex, actions are much faster, around 0.08 s because the signal doesn't have to go via the brain. Reflex actions occur in response to danger, for example moving your hand away from something hot or blinking when something moves quickly towards your eyes."

Better than all of T17 attempts after WWP. They should hire you and you code the roping.

5 years later, did this test again, my times have improved. Since I stopped playing W:A for the most part and shifted more towards FPS games. Did 3x the reaction test and achieved:

167ms (average of 5 tries)
154ms (average of 5 tries)
168ms (average of 5 tries)

See you in 2025, gonna be interesting when my reaction time declines, I am 34 years now.

Site hasn't changed, it's still: https://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime

Personally I have always found it frustrating to log on, message someone, and realize they aren't even at their computer, possibly not even in their house!

I've always personally thought it would be nicer if people weren't allowed to remain idle on the server for more than 10 minutes, I mean, it's not exactly a lot of effort to re-connect when you are finally ready to be active again.

I know there are people who will disagree, but I for one welcome our new auto-idle-kick overlords!

Yup, I have also always avoided using a snooper in the past and prefer if every user in the channel was actually there and not just in idle mode. In times of high activity I wouldn't mind a broad kick to any and every snooper if that makes room for active players.

I wonder if a constant virus threat would make the world a better place overall. People also seem more nice and helpful in these times.

My maps were actually uploaded without my permission on TUS, I created them but didn't upload them myself. I think it's time to sue TUS... xD

A good list of people you/we will never see again, but were crucial in W:A, it's so weird to go through the list and you know so many of them, it's an indescribable feeling. I am on page 2. :'D

Celll3lock for example, I totally forgot about that dude, really good warmer/roper.
