Obviously there's not much passion put into this so called remaster. It's literally look the same. It's a shame really.

In my understanding, SD by default is to end the game quickly. Hence no crate drops to further a Worm's health. It is not there to prolong the game hence again no crates.  So w2w is necessary to carry out in order to stay faithful to what Sudden Death stands for. Time will decide who will become victorious or not, based on player's failure rate and fortune.

When Sudden Death is on then it is ON, it should overrule CBA because SD requires both players to carry out the wall to wall rule. SD should not permit a player to acquire a nearby crate. It can be considered unfair and handicap depending on the game's circumstances.

Of course I am not here to argue. I simply shared what I thought seemed correct. This has never been a relevant problem for me because I play none league games. Such a trifle is no need to argue if it happens in-game.

If the majority seems that their opinions are more adequate in contrast to what I have shared to this date, I will gladly accept.

When sudden death is on, W2W is mandatory and CBA is optional.

I have questioned myself in some roper games ''Why do the player get crate and then attack the opposing player in SD?'' The conclusion to this is... Time. I think, there has never been a clear rule in regards to this.  So time and its generation has decided what is and what is not. 

In my honest opinion, if there is a crate lurking about in SD mode, I will automatically apply myself to W2W because it seems more logical to me.

Are we talking Implementing a league & a ranking system? Because I would love to see more than that without sounding so demanding. Exceeding the 256 color palette and adding HD graphics without sacrificing the gameplay is something that would be nice. Of course nothing too fancy that will require a lot of extra work.

I know a lot of wormers that are good with music, so adding new soundtracks is something I could contribute too. But there are people who will come out and say ''I play my own music'' Sure that works but for newcomers and for those who do not tune on their own music would appreciate it.

Though there are people who will oppose to change because people in general don't appreciate change due to nostalgia. So when it comes to graphics update, maybe there should be a feature where you can switch it on and off.

I am willing too throw in a couple of bucks to make things happen yeah.

There are other paths to take and one of them are not necessary via TuS.

You are right when it comes to the age of this game, the nostalgia that linger on with WA players.
You are right when it comes to ''just talk''. People tend to talk and get nothing done.

So tell me Mister MonkeyIsland. Who are not united? Who will not fund this project? Who will not take the necessary steps to make ''just talk'' a reality? Who is to say that the age of this game poses an issue?

These issues that have been presented and perhaps more to come, are bricks of walls and can be easily be taken down and reassembled to a new and better end result.

With the right commitment to something one loves, big things can come out of it. I see a lot of players both old school and new school who would appreciate change.

You say that this game is old and abandoned. That may seem so yes, but yet this game is on sale on Steam. A lot of new people and coming people have come from Steam. I do not see issue in updating the game for marketing purpose because it is still on sale.

Not necessary Team17 but freelancers/none with the required skills that could take on this task for Team17 due to the possible high demand of the WA community.

This would be an epic opportunity not just to integrate league systems in WA, but a more modern take on the UI. This would help beginners and players in general to look up details on popular schemes in the game itself.  As well as new user friendly tools, and features that could benefit everyone.

A complete graphics overhaul and update on current terrains, sprites, and texture would be a juicy feast without sacrificing the core gameplay itself.

I am no programmer but a casual player of the community who would not mind offering a penny or two.
