Hi,
I'm sorry to break your fun, but this was already discovered a long time ago. Basically, missions that don't have the extra new WWP triggers, can also be played in WA: these are at least 2, 36, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44 (Youtube links). As you see, these were played in W:A.
The rest are either partially or fully incompatible with WA, because WA doesn't have the new triggers and effects from WWP (such as the famous mine cannon), therefore you lose mission content.

Also you didn't mention the need of using the wkFileOverride.dll module (it's required to redirect WA into loading the local DATA files instead of CD:\DATA files), which means that you're either a Steam user or modify your disk image, or a pirate.

Also you can use any PNG file as an IMG for your mission. Just load it in the map editor and then grab the uncompressed custom.img file from the W:A root. The compression, if required, can be performed via external tools, the algorythm is described on the WKB.

if no one plays WWP, how come the old Team17 forum thread (WWP color fix) has got 600000+ views between 2008 and 2013, more than 70000 downloads, people registering solely because of the fix, and tons of comments? Also look at the view counter of this thread, for the record, and notice how guests come here within 5-10 minute periods.
Another cause of the WWP server inactivity could be the broken IP address of the WormNET server (no one can connect to the server without modifying the game or redownloading the patch again, because Team17 changed their IP address various times in the past) and the crash issues that cause incompatibility with the newer systems.

hi, that's a very cool project there! though I never worked with .Net so I'm not sure if I'll be able to help here... I may ask PacMani though, he may be able to merge it with his Worms.NET library as well (it's here, check it out: https://wormsnet.codeplex.com/)

it connects to the website (TUS or other leagues) via a special php page that can also process the username and pass (which you might set to a different value for secure logging on TUS), and then there you get a webpage with the list of people logged in to this website. This page is parsed and such people are marked with colour in the userlist. It's a proof that they are who they are. You can see how it works in Wheat's source.
It also shows a league rank of preference: TUS classic, TUS free, and the third one

that worm resemles an active worm, while frozen worms should be an ice block and therefore not collect any crates. it's just that the crates rarely fall over frozen worms so you never notice it...

was it a Windows error crash? If so, can you visit the Event Log (Win+R -> eventvwr.msc) and find the crash event for WA.exe at the time it happened?

alternatively you can install the windowed mode ddraw hack which can avoid this since it emulates the directdraw environment in software.

you can't change it during the gameplay because it's hardcoded... constant values. it would require very extreme hacks with a lot of bugs
