TUS schemes
« on: March 13, 2011, 10:59 PM »
We've had a couple of complaints regarding the use of TUS schemes and variants thereof. Browsing through the rules, there's no real mention about which scheme to use, so we need to change that :)

In principle, you must use the TUS schemes (i.e. the schemes on this page with a behind it).

However, you're allowed to pick a different scheme under the following conditions.
  • The nature of the game is not changed by the scheme itself. For example, 5 second turns in hysteria changes the dynamic and is therefore not allowed.
  • The host gives a warning before the game starts that the scheme is different.
  • If you forget to mention that the scheme is different and your opponent asks for a rematch immediately after he finds out, the game is then void and must be replayed with the correct scheme, regardless of whether he quits or not.

If people can't agree on a variant of the scheme, then the official TUS scheme must be used.

We've had a little discussion amongst the mods about which schemes to allow, especially shopper has various schemes. We're going to discuss that a bit more and we'll probably have a couple of allowed official schemes then :) But we'll post more when we know more.

Of course, these rules can't be used retroactively to handle past complaints.

GJ, but sincerally i think that will be more easy if only the tus schemes should be allowed in leagues games... coz We always warn the mates and someones always complaint.

If you warn someone in the game lobby, you have logs in the User/Logs folder to prove that you warned them.

Pessimists are much like hypochondriacs.

I've heard a great joke about hypochondriacs, I'll try to translate it into english:
Do u know what's written on hypochondriacs grave?
No?
It's written: "See! I've told you!"

;x

I love it. :D

Anyway, you should review the pessimist definition (or the hypochondriac one): That's pretty different.  :)

EDIT:
Or it's something that no one can understand except U cause U have supernatural powers?
Weeeeee, I now have supernatural powers ! Fly superman, fly !  ;)

Do U really think that I don't know they're different?

Do U really think that I ''should review'' ? ;o

Or it's something that no one can understand except U cause U have supernatural powers?

Said it before, and I'll say it again. My T17-scheme with girders reduced to 7 should be official scheme.

Had no complaints so far. Best balanced T17 scheme there is.

IMO best solution is 1 scheme for all to use, not multiple variants per scheme. It will only be confusing and unnecessary too.

sorry HHC but I think that infinite girders is better option, because if you get really bad weapons, girders are your only chance and I'm Tory anyway :P
but to be honest I don't remember t17 game in which I have used more than 7 girders so... I don't see problem xD

and btw isn't official t17 tus scheme, scheme with 7 girders? ;o thought it is, anyway it was so far
