Is there no other option that doesn't cause screen tearing? I cannot rope with screen tearing :/
Yes, try all combinations of vsync options. Particularly assisted vsync on, with regular vsync on or off.

Not really sure what is essential and what isn't by the way, so haven't been able to try those ideas, any guidelines?
If it's not made/signed by Microsoft, it's almost surely not essential. Rarely some hardware devices/components won't fully work without some program running, but most of the time the drivers are enough by themselves.

Good tools to find/disable unwanted programs are Process Hacker and Autoruns.

Make sure to have a backup / repair CD and create a system restore point in case something goes wrong.

Direct3D 7.

Use Direct 3D 9 (shader). Try changing the Vsync options until you're no longer seeing any lag.

Having both off will uncap the frame rate and should have no lag, though you'll get screen tearing.

Make sure that it was installing WormNAT2 and not something else that caused the problem.

Check for any WormKit files (.dll files beginning with "wk") in your W:A directory other than wkWormNAT2.dll.

Pretty certain that whatever problem you're experiencing is not related to WormNAT2.

If you enabled WormKit modules to be able to use WormNAT2, then it's possible you had another WormKit module in your W:A directory.

This link u just sent doesnt work for me either. =/
Doesn't work how?

Occasionally some parts of the Internet lose connectivity to worms2d.info. If you can't open any pages on worms2d.info, ask your ISP, or just wait as these problems usually resolve themselves after a while.

but I realized that my host do not appears to other people not even to me but I can go ahead and play with myself lol
That sounds like a known WormNET bug. It only happens on the first time you host on a new IP, so if the game doesn't appear, rehost it and it will appear a second time.

If it's not that, then more information is needed:

and unfortunately nobody seems to give a flying f@#! about fixing it.

How about "because nobody reported the problem to people who can actually fix it"?

Posting seems to work now. In the future, problems with websites hosted on our server (same IP as wmdb, worms2d.info, wormnet.net etc.) should be reported to me, not complained about where nobody relevant can hear you :)

It looks (and sounds) like the Dragon Ball hit the dud mine. Is there anything unusual past that?

Tech Support / Re: Please, update my nickname to ShaggY
« on: February 03, 2017, 10:17 AM »
Hi,

Since you posted this in the Worms Armageddon Tech Support forum, I understand that you want to change your nickname in Worms Armageddon.

If you want to change your WormNET nickname, you can do it on the network game menu. You can reach it from the main menu by clicking the lower left button. The field is labeled "Player name (Nickname)", and is located in the "Player information" section.

If you want to change your Worms team's name, or the name of one of your team's Worms, you can do so on the Team Editor screen. First, go to the options menu, by clicking on the lower right button on the main menu. There, in the "Team options" section, select your team from the drop-down, then click the "Edit the team details" button (lower right of the same section).

Or, perhaps you posted this in the wrong forum section? Maybe this thread will be relevant to you:

Either way, good luck with changing your nickname, Doug/ShaggY :)

FYI, WMDB sends an "Author_-_Name.png" filename in Content-Disposition, which you can use with e.g. wget --content-disposition.
