Schemes Comments / Scheme #3399, Freemediate submitted by Kaleu
« on: August 30, 2020, 05:36 AM »
The scheme reduces Intermediate's luck especially at the beginning and allows some interesting moves with the feature of pressing tab to change worms. All worms usually are well positioned almost the entire game in Freemediate. You don't control a worm, you control a team. Normal players definitely should try this scheme!

It is called Flat Earth Apocalypse, with 3.8 and RubberWorm features.

The ultimate scheme of Armageddon + Jet Pack survival updated now for version 3.8.

The map needs to be completely flat, like a big table (Flat Earth) with tiny walls on the sides: https://www.wmdb.org/37238

The scheme now has a rule and is fast paced (2.55002x). Also, it can be played 1-6 players free for all or not and the wind can be a bit more stronger than usual, with less chance to appear "0 wind" or weak winds. It is mandatory to play with only one worm per team and the handicap health must be set with the "+" for all worms of the game

Scheme rules
This is an absolute mandatory rule: Activate Armageddon before your turn ends. If someone does not respect this rule (a cow happens) there are some possible options:

a) The ideal is: everybody skips turn in order to be able to the cow player use Armageddon in his turn properly.
b) The one who cows will have to activate armageddon without the Jet Pack during her/his next turn.
c) The player who did the cow will not be able to collect the health crate in his next turn.
d) The player who did the cow will not be able to win the game, since she/he cheated.

I've just released the scheme on TUS: https://www.tus-wa.com/schemes/scheme-3375/#scheme-editor

Here is one of the greatest brazilian composers: Tom Jobim. The genre of his music is called Bossa Nova, a mixture of Samba + Jazz.

He is singing and playing with Frank Sinatra in this video.

WoSC / Website and TUS forum usage
« on: November 30, 2013, 04:17 AM »
We used to work more in our website before the community suddenly die. I want to make TUS forum more active now. However our website doesn't require TUS accounts and people who have already 2 communities can still participate. So maybe we shouldn't just forget our old website (there are many important things there). But I think we should also make TUS forum more active. TUS forum is more notable and easier to use. Let's see how we're gonna work together since our revival.

WoSC / Play with the community any time you want
« on: November 29, 2013, 11:32 PM »
Here is the place to post "I wanna play X scheme with you" and host a game to play with members of our community! Do you wanna test a scheme? Just say it here. Do you just want to have fun with already known schemes? No problem, post here too! This is a way to know each other and have fun together!! You can also decide if the game will be just for members (if you want to test something) or opened to anyone join (and promote schemes)!

WoSC / The Community is revived!
« on: November 29, 2013, 10:38 PM »
The community was dead. Me and DBC were inactive in WA and DBC was the only admin. But now I'm back to WA and I asked Monkey Island if he could put me as admin again along with LeTotalKiller. Let's get back to work! many schemes to create and test! :D

LeTotalKiller is working on a scheme website as well: http://www.worms-univers.com/worms-armageddon/scheme-editor/index.php

I believe this scheme is inspired on (maybe edited from) my scheme Snooker (I released it in 2011). I remember to jump a lot at home when I discovered that air viscosity breaks the inertia from zero gravity. I tested my scheme several months with the help of DumbBongChow. We were also working on a px version of it but we gave up. However this scheme is the REAL snooker/pool we know. Very nice idea. My scheme is completely different even with similar physics.

We are working again on Snooker and this time it will be for PX + RubberWorm. The problems are now fixed and the game will have a rule: do not go to the black areas. Also with the new PX weapons the scheme is much better. After some discussion with DBC I decided to put the crates again and some weapons like the earthquake were removed.

EDIT: The scheme will have no rules now that we implemented Cyclic Map to the scheme. Also, the scheme is almost done.

You and Foxhound should Metal Gear Solid together one day lol. :D

im a really metal gear fan xDDDD 100% ((((:

Cool! I used to play MGS3 A LOT some years ago. I took all the special itens, camouflages, I took Foxhound rank many times, check my best time: http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6170/dsc04604z.jpg this is why my worms name is FoxHound. ;)

:-\ DumbBongChow and others, I have good and bad news about the Snooker scheme.

The bad news:

There are 2 giant problems to solve (I discovered recently) + the sudden death settings to finish the update. Because of this, I think the scheme will not be finished soon. One problem is that if a player put worms off the screen, it may make the game horrible. I need to think a way to fix this, probably (and unfortunately) with a rule, but it would be nice to make the off screen area part of the strategy without making the game bad (maybe using the aqua sheeps which can go there easily). The other problem is that the mines can kill easily worms every time. How? Just drop lots of intersected mines above a worm, go under the worm and jump to knock it upwards. The worm will stop in the mines and will die for sure. This way revolver is not so strong anymore. This can be fixed with a rule (but I always try not to put rules) or setting the mines with delay or less ammo, what might make the scheme less interesting. Also the sudden death will need lots of testings.

The good news:

The scheme has less luck now and more weapons to use. The scheme is also more interesting: there are zero crates in the scheme now (yes it is still very nice, I tested). This way Aqua Sheep can damage now, reaching far worms easily. Another thing: Earthquake can be used now, being useful with mines on the map and with worms near the water (girders + mines + earthquake might be interesting).

Well, that's all I can say about it now. It will be nice if someone help me testing the scheme. If we think together i think we can reach the best solution for the problems.
