Schemes / Re: Land Schemes OR Rope Schemes?
« on: January 07, 2020, 08:07 PM »
Most people with common sense will know the difference between land based game modes and rope based game modes. A rope based scheme resolves around the handling of the rope and its various techniques it allows player to use. While on land based schemes, rope doesn't have a dominating factor, but rope can be used in many ways in Intermediate, but it doesn't make it a roping scheme. Anyone should know this, even you.

Again, I am not generalizing, it is fantasy on your end. To me, rope schemes feels faster, but we perceives things differentlyt and it is interesting to see other people's point of view.

Do you not understand the question of this topic? Try my little friend. Do you enjoy the following land schemes: Intermediate, Elite, BnG, Hysteria, & Aerial more than; Shopper, Roper, TTRR, and WxW?

Sure one can argue: Well I like TTRR but I don't like other rope schemes. Then you are more favoring land based scheme.

I prefer rope based scheme because it is fast and fun
Yet Shopper exists. Think you've generalizing things too much.
How am I generalizing? I was curious to see what people like the most out of the two, rope based scheme or land based schemes. Should my curiosity be denied? Should people stop making surveys? Should people stop partaking in surveys? Should we not ask what people like? Should we stop making conversation? My intent was not to divide people, cause a big uproar with pitchforks etc. I was only curious to see what everyone likes more. Worms Armageddon is basically rope or land, and I find myself playing rope schemes more. Many other don't play rope modes at all, and that's totally fine., I got nothing against that. If someone likes normal schemes more, vote that, but if someone find themselves roping more, vote for rope.

Schemes / Land Schemes OR Rope Schemes?
« on: January 06, 2020, 02:46 PM »
So there is a intermediate cup hosted by TOMT, and so far at this time 25 people have joined. This got me thinking ''What do you enjoy playing the most? Is it land scheme such as normal, elite, bng, hysteria etc? Or roper, shopper, wxw, big rr, etc? And why

For me, I prefer rope based scheme because it is fast and fun. Land schemes tend to be slow paced and tedious. Although the latter does not always have to be true. Elite is fun, but Intermediate is slow and dull (Subjectively). Hysteria is fast and frantic and I like that, but can be boring at the end. Then again, land was never my number one choice.

General discussion / Quitting
« on: December 30, 2019, 05:27 PM »
People quit ongoing games everyday so what's the big deal? Well, the big deal is that; In WA people tend to ruin a match by quitting abruptly without providing any detail as to why. This happens to me, where people enter my host room, and quit in the game right after or in a few turns. Later they return as nothing has ever happened so I let them play again, and guess what? They quit again. A vicious cycle that repeats itself. So I try to give them a cool down by banning them for a day, or week. They come again, and the cycle repeats itself. Although, some have redeemed the errors in their way and stopped their cycle (Hopefully).

I quit sometime too, but far in between. Most of the time I give people a reason why, most are pretty understanding.

In the end it can be just a language barrier, age, or just pure trolling. Or something else :o

Anyway, whats your thoughts?

Off Topic / Re: Star Wars?
« on: December 28, 2019, 11:50 AM »
I never got into Star Wars much. I only properly watched the original trilogy once I was an adult. But similar to what I said in the Movie Remakes thread, I just don't like franchises in general. They're almost never good. They just seem like unimaginative money makers. The best exception to me is probably bloody SpongeBob SquarePants. I look forward to enjoying the 3rd movie. SpongeBob is love.

I absolutely want lots of space lesbians though.

You say ''unimaginative money makers''. I don't believe Star Wars started out like that, nor that George Lucas intended to be a money milking machine. He only wanted to tell a story, and he did so successfully. The time his story was told on the big screen was never seen and done before. That is why Star Wars became such a big deal. Nowadays the original trilogy might not seem much to the average viewer because they are already saturated enough with reference and inspiration from the old older movies that they skipped or missed.

I am all for Space-Lesbians, but then again, who are the target audience? Lesbians? Horny intellects? Perhaps viewing porn is a better alternative. All of the LGBTQ are not majority, and movie studios are losing money because they pander to these far left SJW lunatics. So again, Lesbians? Transgenders? Sure why not, but remember, I personally and hopefully others, want a good story with compelling characters. Not ''Hey guys! We got Asians male who identifies himself as a female''. Everything needs context. So I totally get what skunk3 is conveying.

There is no need to destroy entertainment for your own personal agenda. Take Home Alone for example. Such movie today wouldn't be made. Why? Because all of the casts are white! Now we need bit of Mexican, Asian, African, oh and some white people, because we don't want them to be sexist, racists etc.

I haven't seen the last movie The Rise of Skywalker, because I have lost all interest. I have however allowed myself to be spoiled by viewing a lot of videos on the last movie.- From what I have gathered, I am not impressed at all. Disney didn't have a outline for their sequel trilogy, but George Lucas did have it for his own prequel trilogy. Lucas did however give his outline and ideas to Disney for the next trilogy, but none of it were used, although Disney Lucas claims otherwise.

The Disney Star Wars is characterized by identity politics and other nonsense that ruined Star Wars and its so called magic. J. J. Abrams also directed Star Trek, which set Star Trek to its downfall. Both J. J. Abrams & Rian Johnson (Directed Last Jedi), did not work together, and had their own vision of Star Wars. Fans have spoken out why they didn't like Star Wars, but they were called toxic man babies. No wonder Star Wars is dead.

I really do feel sorry for George Lucas, and I am sorry that fans were mean to him with his prequel trilogy. But in the end, he is the father and is a good story teller, but not good at executing them though.

Look at how evil and cold this woman is. Also she has been a political activist since her adolescence, and it is amazing such person could ruin Star Wars. But Bob Igor can't really fire her, because WOMAN. Although she has fired tons of worthy directors that could had worked with the Star Wars sequel trilogy....

Spoilers here.

The flag is a symbol that represents a country/faith. In Norway's case you have the right to burn it. But then again, why would you do it? Are you dissatisfied where the country is going/or how it is treating and effecting you? If so, you can do it and people shouldn't blame you for it, but then again, you probably don't belong there/anymore. There can be numerous reasons to why a person chooses to burn anything that can upset them. So in the case of burning the holy book, is totally okay in our country. However, I do think it was irresponsible and stupid of the person to do it. He probably have some sort of xenophobia, and didn't know how to deal with the problem except for burning the book. I can understand that such irresponsible action can upset plenty of people, but it is far beyond a warrant reason to have someone killed.  They should just roll their eyes, chuckle and move on. ''That's too bad for him, we still have our faith but what does he have?''.

A Norwegian light fire on The Quran book in public. Understandably this action caused uproar among the Muslim community. An Islamic group called for execution of this person who light fire on the holy book. The good news is that the Norwegian police managed to stop the book to be totally burnt. A quick google search will give you more insight on the issue at hand.

Regardless, what do you think of the death penalty? Should it ever be practiced regardless of how serious the atrocity committed by the person(s) at hand?
