Someone has posted an Inquiry regarding Identity Theft to Team17. Though there are those who have said that Team17 does not prioritize old games, and are likely to Ignore the message. However I do salute the entity that took the Initiative to write this letter. I do think it was necessary to write to them even if the odds they will look the other way. It is better to do something than nothing Imagine if everyone wrote to them that would get their attention.

I have reached out more than one time to parties Involved.- Unfortunately to my knowledge there have been times for example where all 3 were available exception for one player could not arise to the occasion. I have been this player at time(s). Hence The Senator have taken the Initiative to seek out clarity whether or not we are even discussing the matter of this cup.

 It is not easy to schedule games and it frustrates me because I too want this to be over ASAP. Though I can feel but not necessary true assessment that there ''can'' be entities who do not follow or/and priorities this as much as I personally like to believe. This can be due to real life priorities and other life schedules.

To join a CUP, it means you take sign up for responsibility. You alone must be responsible to make yourself available as much as possible. Have I taken the responsibility to be available? I believe so I have made myself available as much as I could with exception for a few times where I had to decline due to other priorities but otherwise I been here, ready to do my end of the deal. 

This cup started so good, really good, and I was fascinated by all of the participants commitment to play their games. It felt like a real cup, well oiled locomotive, that could never thought possible it could be stopped. But the train has stopped now because not everyone can get onboard with it anymore. Hence participating can become less motivating...

But we are still trying.... That's all.

Some major change are made to this scheme.

Loss of control doesn't end turn is removed.
Holy Hand Grenade & Banana Bomb is removed.
Mad Cow does 37dmg per cow, max is 100 with all 3 cows.
Fall damage is now down from 100 to 70dmg.
Some crate possibilitets are changed.
Mines & Drum Barrels are removed.

That's it.

Though, word of caution, some changes & reintroduction may occur. It all depends on consensus.

I had pointed Deadcode to this thread long ago. So yes he knows about this and he said he will inform Team17 the next time they communicate. He also mentioned he is not very optimistic that the idea would go through.

It is nice to know that there are people that appreciate the crude and basic aesthetics of these maps, but also it should be enough to get the point through on how to play this particular scheme.

Does Team17 care? No.. they haven't been actively involved in W:A development for like 20 years..

Deadcode? Of course he cares and reads suggestions, but you have to remember that he's seen thousands of suggestions and also already has a massive backlog of more core and important work to do on W:A. I think http://feedback.worms2d.info/forums/5998-worms-armageddon is probably a better way to discuss and surface suggestions anyways, as it has a more structured way to show consensus.
But of course it is easier to analyze the popularity of public suggestion on there however, not everybody knows about it, and it shouldn't hurt for Deadcode to pop in here once in a while to rub his chin and think to himself ''Hmm, Interesting''.

I honestly wonder if Deadcode, and Team17 or other collaborated developers actually takes any of these Ideas seriously Into account. I wonder if any actually visits these forums and think to themselves '''Wow some of these Ideas are actual pretty cool! Why haven't I thought of this? I really should try make some of these Ideas realized''.

Although an counterargument could be made ''They already thought the most of this, but they are too busy, OR/and that Team17 won't sanction most of these Ideas and as a result they lack the motivation to make any of these Idea realized''-.

Team17 could learn a lot by reading a thread like this though.

It's already a thing where you can authenticate with TUS to appear as verified in Wheat Snooper.

Edit: this has been a thing in Wheat Snooper for 12 years.
Indeed, but I would like to see such authentication would take a step further by forcing exact same nickname out of WormNET.

But ultimately as MonkeyIsland proposes, It does seem to suggest It is up to Team17.

Interesting idea, shots are more challenging and require some creative attacks. Watching the replays it seems people sometimes run out of time and some shots are very hard if you don't have many weapons. It is important to choose the best spots to hide, far away and protected from the red lines.

This scheme reminds me iClown's Trick Shot Race and Multi-challenge by euskadi, but it is a very different idea, since this is a battle scheme, more precisely a Shopper variant.
It Is crucial to find best possible hide from the red lines Indeed. There can be red lines in future maps on the ground too, and that can force the player to attack from ground, leaving them with no retreat from rope.
It is true that I and others ran out of time during our turn but It Is Important to remember that It does depend on max complexity, crate spawns, and skills.

Ah yes well this scheme borrows Ideas from Board Shopper, and so on. I am sure other schemes can be made with similar condition lines.  ;) And therefore Condition ZaR will be made :o
