Please read this post. You must use the Community Server to get the new version of HostingBuddy that supports this.

We had a wonderfully easy way to set antisink = true in 3.7 with hosting buddy by typing in "!crate fren 1"

What would be the modern way of doing this?
You can use the !antisink command if you go to the Community Server instead of Team17's server. It uses a new version of HostingBuddy with full support for 3.8 features.

The reason why it's still not live on the main server is because Team17 has been very slow to publish 3.8 on the GOG platform, and pre-3.8 versions must be totally banned for the upgrade to occur.

I'll take a look at this, hopefully by the end of the month.
The way it worked since 3.6.30.0 is no longer compatible with 3.8, so more changes will need to be made.

As said above, notchers can just aim straight up and start counting, non-notchers still have to guess every time.

Nope, we still have Circular Aiming, which although doesn't fully prevent it, makes it much harder. Also it is very obvious what people are trying to do when it happens, which should discourage them from doing it.

Changes to the engine to prevent discrete aiming steps are possible and have been considered (so no single tap of an arrow key is the same, and counts fractions of a frame/pixels), as well as programmatic rotation of the crosshair graphic.

Problem solved.

(As a matter of fact, you have probably noticed there are two anti-lock aim options: the base game one resets to nearest, so 0 or 90, while RubberWorm anti-lock aim always resets to horizontal 0 degrees).

There was a module for 3.6.29.0 called wkCinusAutoText but it has not been updated since and I think it only worked during the game, not in lobbies. It also predates the chat anti-flood.
You can paste multi-line text in lobbies as already said.

Don't forgot update wkReamapKeys, i had some old. In new module it doesn't work if you use codes of keys, just "Space", "A", "B". Strange.
Codes still work if they are prefixed by #. This was changed a while back (in 1.2.0.0 I think)

When uploading schemes from Firefox the connection between Hard Disk and TUS through the browser never ends, most of the times the scheme in my pc ends up showing as invalid (corrupted) in game and I need to use Unlocker to delete the scheme or closing browser or restarting pc to be able to do it.
It is a 12 year old bug in Firefox.

Hello, I've gotten gold on all of the missions, gold on training, have reaches elite on dearhmatch and won several games, however full wormage isn't unlocking. This is extremely fruatrating, and any web searches just result in unlockers. Please help.
There are several training challenges, not just Basic Training. Click the arrow at the top-right of the trainings screen to see them.
The gold medal is only required in these challenges. You need at least bronze in campaign missions, and Elite in Deathmatch.

It doesn't make sense that the "Classic" scheme, which mimics the original, gets the upgrade while the "Simple" one does not. Either nothing, or the other way around, would make more sense.

Your "simple" scheme seems to keep control after skimming, but not with rope, so space will not work. The "classic" scheme has both (which is weird, because the classic TS only had the no-rope version). Seems they are the wrong way around.
Also, rope speed is increased but projectile speed is not. (Remember that worms are also projectiles)

The TS options are not exactly the way they were in the original, see this for reference: https://worms2d.info/List_of_Worms_Armageddon_logic_versions#Effects
(how to read the table: each subsequent version of TS adds options on top of previous ones, or modifies options that were used in previous ones)

If it is necessary to roll on the "beach" after surfing then "X Impact Loss of control" also needs to be Disabled. (someone in the shoutbox mentioned this). Otherwise rules modified that you have to use the rope when you are close to the shore.

Very few people turn it off, because it's a massive security risk in 2020.
